Guest guest
I've been searching around on the internet for information on exercise in the ayurvedic communities and I've found only teeny bits of info. What I read talked about exercising during cool times of the day, in the morning, after morning massages and before showering, using 50% of your capacity and not over-exerting yourself. Now, I'm trying to lose weight and I went to the gym and got on the treadmill. Because of my weight(being so heavy) I checked my heart rate and it was constantly 60-65% percent. I felt like I was walking too slow and that I wasn't working out at all. I wasn't sweating, like everyone else was. Then I read that over-exertion can be noted in fore-head sweating and mouth breathing. . . Does anyone know if this is adaquate enough exercise to lose weight? I don't know what I should be doing, coming from traditional (no pain no gain) way of working out.
