I am writing to you regarding the Okizu Foundation's fundraising

event, Karma for Kids. The Okizu Foundation operates Camp Okizu,

which is a special place where children with cancer and their

families establish new friendships, learn independence, and foster

self-esteem, all nurturing the will to survive.

 

I have joined the Okizu Foundation in the Karma for Kids event and

its goal of raising $1,000,000 for their programs. Karma for Kids is

a program in which 1000 yoga practitioners work together, each

committing to complete 15, 30, 60, or 90 yoga classes in 90 days

(beginning September 1) to raise $1,000,000.

 

Cancer affects millions of children and families worldwide, and by

raising this money I will be able to help send some these children

and families who have been affected by childhood cancer to camp. How

can you help? I am committed to raising at least $1,000 through Karma

with which you can sponsor me by the class or one-time donation. The

Okizu Foundation is a 501 c(3) non-profit; all donations are tax

deductible.
