Guest guest Posted July 29, 2003 Report Share Posted July 29, 2003 Hello sirs , I have an imbalance of pitta .I have burning sensation in stomach, burning eyes, high body temperature,have acne ,moles and freckles. Since Iam a student I lead a stressful life. I wake up in the middle of night and after drinking water I fall asleep after an hour or so.So Iam on a pitta pacifying diet.I avoid taking spices and taking medicines to pacify pitta (neem based). Burning sensation have been reduced and Iam sleeping better.But I do have kapha imbalance. I have congestion in chest and head . There is relief when I take pungent food like pepper ,ginger,garlic or trikatu .But it increases my pitta. So can you please advise me as to how to reduce kapha without increasing pitta ?.(If possible without increasing vata as well).I do yoga too, so any advise on yogic exercises or pranayama is welcome too.
