Guest guest
Hi Been lurking for awhile. I really wasn't too familiar with Ayurveda type of teachings, but after reading the below, I decided to look it up and get it defined. Also, on the site I was looking at, it explained the different categories within the teachings. From what I've noticed, so far, on the list (which is about 1 months worth for me) I have not seen too much in terms of an all encompassing conversation regarding Ayurveda studies and beliefs. Mostly, I've seen this list in terms of "remedies" using a variety of products here and there. I would imagine that things like meditations, how one lives a stress free life, what foods and also herbal solutions will enhance that, and how to balance the different doshas, etc. (I think I got that right) would be talked about on the list. I don't think I've seen too much variety, so far. But then I could be wrong too . Warmly, Lyn --- durgesh mankikar <d_mankikar wrote: > Whatever merit this treatment may have, it is not Ayurvedic !! > Ayurveda is a definite science, not something to do with > application of whatever substance anywhere in the body !! > Either we learn and discuss Ayurveda, or this web site will go the > way of "alternate" medicine, whatever that means. > > > > ===== Plex/join The New Search - Faster.
