Guest guest
My throat is raw from post-nasal drip. I, of course, need to stop the dripping (from allergies). Any suggestions for that would be appreciated. But my first concern is my throat. Any suggestions for gargles, or anything else, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris
Guest guest
Apply iodine to the inside of your wrist, it's the same thing as gargling w/ salt water- it's the iodine in the salt that makes your throat feel better. It goes from your wrists up to your throat. It works!!! Chris Van Steenbergen
Guest guest
Haridra (Turmeric), Vibhitaki and Yashti Madhu (Licorice), equal parts powders, 1-2 tsp in water as a garle. Alternately, tinctures/teas of Sage and Echinacea are quite good. Treat hayfever by eliminating flour and dairy, taking bioflavonoids (6 g daily), omega 3 s (= to 360 EPA/DHA, thrice daily), and drinking a tea made with Nettle and Eyebright. The Chinese have an excellent patent remedy called Pe Min Kan Wan (sometimes spelled Bi Min Gan Wan), 3-5 pills 2-3 x daily. The formulas Trikatu and Triphala may be helpful as well. best Caldecott www.wrc.net/phyto
