Dear Friends,

Is there any ayurvedic cure for torn medial & lateral meniscii (in

the knee) or is arthroscopy the only option?

Can there be any rejuvenation for the torn cartilages (lateral &

medial meniscii) thru some diet or some other medicine?

The patient is in his late thirties and was an avid sportsman in his

younger days. Both the cartilages are torn, thus causing pain in the

knee. Surgery has been advised by doctors in allopathy to avoid

degenerative arthritis in the future.

Any cure / remedy pls suggest.

Regards

Amit

Have you heard of the Kerala Ayurvedic Centre? their

Massages and treatments like Potli & oil bath are

ideal for any and many conditions.Expensive but a sure

cure.

Dear Amit,

As suggested by sudha2710, Panchakarma treatment will be very

beneficial in this case, especially since the patient is young and is

a sports person. However there is no need to go to Kerala only for

that. Panchakarma treatment is easily available in many parts of

India and abroad also. If you inform me of your location I can

suggest you a center nearby.
