Hi All,

 

I recently started reading about Ayurveda and found it fascinating,

especially the holistic part of it. I'm trying to heal myself from

various health problems like Arthritis, digestive disorders. My main

problem is frequent urination and irritation. I'm a young male who

was misdiagnosed by the allopathic doctors with prostate problems and

given antibiotics and pain killers. When I started my self healing, I

started off finding my problems could be yeast related. Switching to

an anti yeast diet helped me as I improved my diet from just rice and

dal to include more vegetables.

 

I then switched to raw-foods and had some amazing results with my

muscle pain and even digestive upsets to some extent. But then even

in raw foods some salas caused me upsets and irritation. Thats when I

started reading about ayurveda.

 

I score pretty high on "vata" and sounds like my "prakruti" is vata.

I've always been an insomniac and like to do things faster and I get

burnt out pretty fast.

 

I know that ayurveda doesnt recommmend raw foods for a "vata"

imbalance. How many of you have successfully balanced their vatas?

What were your life style and dietary changes?
