Guest guest
This has been going on for 3 years and until now, I didn't think about the reprocussions of my past on my spiritual body. This is what's going on. I've been getting prostate irritation left and right. Even though I continue to do what's right in the western eye for my prostate I still end up having problems and great pain. It comes and goes, and everytime I go to the doctor they can find nothing wrong with me. That is also irritating in itself. My past. Well, I recieved Shakti Pat when I was 21 and followed a pure lifestyle for 5 years. I was celebate, ate vegetarian, meditated, performed asanas, and experienced moments of great ecstacy. I left the life style when I was 25 (don't reprimand me) because so many people in the atmosphere didn't seem to be growing and it bothered me. Now, I continue to teach yoga, but no longer practice the rest of the virtues. In short, I'm living a western life and I didn't realize it would have this effect of me. I never thought about the fact that once you've started something spiritually you must finish it, because with the greater energy flowing through any blockage can cause much more severe problems. I was wondering if anyone could help me in explaining if my idea about the reasons for my prostate problem is true. Did the halt in spiritual activity and introduction of sex and meat in my lifestyle cause a derangement or blockage in Apana Vayu? If so, how does one remedy this? I want to go back to meditation, but I fear to do so may end up causing more problems in this area. Should I correct this first before going back to spirituality? Please help. Thank you. You can email me at Prtam14852 if you wish, in response. Thanks in Advance, Prtam
Guest guest
Dear Pritam, It's very difficult to answer your question. You have mentioned that you had received Shakti Pat some years ago. >From whom did you receive it. That person will be best suited to answer your query. All yogic activities are best done under the guidance of a proper trainer and he is the best person to guide you if you have any problems during or after the activity. Cybervaidya.
