Guest guest
Alternatives for Special Kids (ASK!) is finalizing its list of speakers for its May conference in Irvine, California. If you have any recommendations on speakers, please forward them ASAP. Our speaker list will be posted by September 15th. Is there someone with unique expertise that you want to sit down and talk to one-on-one? Is there a book that you have read and want to talk to the author? Is there a therapy or approach to healing that you have heard about and want more information? Have you worked with someone who was fantastic in helping your child and your family? Is there someone whom you want to consult with to see if they can help your family? Are you a professional with successes in working with children with special needs? Alternatives for Special Kids is the conference sponsor of the world's broadest diversity of expertise working to enhance the lives of children with special needs and their families. ASK! is a part of the HealingChildren network (you can join that list by e-mailing me) and as much as possible will feature demonstrations during each of the 90-minute presentations as well as the 16-hour intensive workshops. The conference will host over 200 workshops, presentations, and demonstrations during the four-day annual event. In addition, ASK! 2003 will feature 25+ intensive, 16-hour workshops. Kids Care and a Kids Conference will make it easier for parents to attend. ASK! 2003 will also host over 150 Exhibitors. If you have recommendations for speakers with expertise in helping special needs children, please contact the conference director, Darien Small, at darien. Information of the conference can be found at www.4healthykids.org. Registration has begun with several early registration promotions. Please note that the intensive workshops will be limited to the first 16 registrants for each of the workshops. Darien C.
