Guest guest
Hi amoeba_78in,
Good to have some queries on the club.
Ayurveda surely deals with psychiatric diseases.
There is a separate branch of ayurveda which is called as Manas Ayurved.
Basically the healthiness of the mind is considered a pre-requisite for all-round health.
When there is an imbalance among various factors affecting the mind it results in psychiatric diseases. Just like Vata, Pitta, Kapha for the body we have Sattva, Raja, Tama for the mind.
Ayurveda has dealt with a wide range of pyschiatric diseases, detailing their cause, symptoms, treatment etc.
A major part of daily regimen as advocated by ayurveda deals with keeping the mind in a healthy condition. The intake of special foods and various exercis especially yoga is advocated for the same. It will be impossible to give all the details, but if you have any specific case, we can discuss it.

With warm regards.
Cybervaidya
