Guest guest
not what we should do to a person who is trying to change the health scenario of the country. As the Swami pointed out in a TV debate, had the colour of his skin been white and had he been in Europe or America he would have qualified for the Nobel Prize in medicine. I agree with him. Today the Nobel is being awarded to people whose discoveries "may" lead to health miracles sometime in the distant future. But the Swami has cured people of ailments considered incurable by modern medicine. I too have been brought back to some semblance of health by a homeopath when the modern doctors had given me up. Will the efforts and efficiency of my homeopath ever be rewarded or discussed? These people have to perform miracles in private and also share the ignominy of being termed "quacks" in public. The heights of injustice!! We should be ashamed of siding with the people who commit such dastardly crimes. Should our esteemed "doctors" be behaving in such a fashion? And we call the whole process "science"!!! I strongly support the Swami when he demands that more funds should be allotted to the alternative healing systems. The government cannot remain insensitive to the demands of the people. Among the followers of ayurveda and homeopathy have been greats like Mahatma Gandhi, Jwaharlal Nehru (who was persuaded by Indira Gandhi), Rajagopalachari down to Atal Behari Vajpayee, P V Narasimha Rao, K R Narayanan and many others. Surely these people are not wanting of intellect? There is just one thing that has always obstructed the growth of these sciences, the mainstream medical lobby. If just what they pay to get things done were diverted to fund the alternative systems it would be a great help. This has in fact been pointed out in the USA where the medical lobby gives "benefits" upwards of 500 million dollars every year to American Senators. It is not for nothing that these Senators have now agreed to pass laws granting immunity from law suits to vaccine makers and drug majors. They can now kill us with impunity and get away with it.
