Diabetes Treatment Other Than Bitter Gourd?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I would be most grateful if anyone could assist me.

A friend of mine has a Daughter who suffers from diabetes. I suggested

to him that the vegetable bitter gourd may help, but he informs me, based on

the information he has read that bitter gourd can only help those who suffer

with a particular type of diabetes (apparently, there are two types of

diabetes: 1 and 2).

His Daughter's cells do not grow at all and are killed off in the first

instance, whereas those who can be helped by bitter gourd do have some cells,

albeit at a limited function.

I would appreciate if anyone has any alternative suggestions as she is

such a poorly little child and suffers greatly.
