Guest guest
Hi! My wife, who is heading Accenture's Knowledge Management division in India, has secured admission to the off-campus "PhD in Management" program, combinedly offered by Birla Institute of Science & Technology (BITS, Pilani) and S P Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR, Mumbai). For her PhD thesis, she wishes to undertake research on how Knowledge Management (KM) could help enhance competitiveness of the Ayurveda industry. KM, to put it in a nutshell, deals with capture/ creation, packaging (eg translation from sanskrit), storage (eg databases, portals), protection (eg copywrites) and effective deployment/ utilization of knowledge. I would welcome inputs towards identifying the areas where knowledge management (KM) opportunities exist in the Ayurveda value chain, so as to then undertake research on developing a KM solution for one of them. I would also appreciate any thoughts you could provide on the best research methodology and sources of information. Vinod
Guest guest
its a very nise thing to here basically there are three main text in ayurved and there minor text called bhrutrai & laghutrai it contains all the information to treat any disease. the de coding is almost impossible but she can do a simple thing with the compounds stated for different different disease what she could do is to fragment these compounds under differedt diseases eg. bala tail its said to be use in vat vyadhi but can also be used ingharbhini disease in d.n.s and else where this way balatail is described in othe text so when one sees bala tail he could utilese it for different disease. and also it is achivable in her given time span program. thank youVinod Haritwal <nikmo (AT) vsnl (DOT) com> wrote: Hi!
