Guest guest
Moms’ 20 Best Babyproofing Tips It’s amazing what a newly (or not so newly) mobile baby can get into around your house. Keep your baby safe with the babyproofing tips 1. Take a new look at your house from your baby’s level. 2. Clear all surfaces at or below your chest. 3. Install rubber stoppers for the top of doors, so they only close a bit and baby’s little fingers won't get pinched. 4. Use plug covers that look like an outlet, but have to be twisted to work. 5. Keep your purse out of reach out of reach. 6. Install magnetic cabinet and drawer locks, which are trickier for little ones to learn to open. 7. Use a mesh gate because baby is less likely to get hurt and it works well for large doorways. 8. Doorknob covers stop your toddler from being able to open the door and run out. 9. Remove rubber tips from door stoppers. It doesn’t cost a thing and is a common cause of choking. 10. Use slip-proof mats underneath throw rugs and door mats. 11. Install a deadbolt or chain at the top of exterior doors, so your toddler doesn't open the door and run out. 12. Use a toilet lid lock. Enough said! 13. Drape a cloth diapers over the door top to keep baby from getting hurt, shutting the door. 14. Install cover guards for sharp table corners. 15. Use a TV guard to stop TV play. It covers all the controls. 16. Learn which plants are safe, and which aren’t. 17. Visually inspect the floor for small objects every time you enter a room. 18. Cover tub faucet with soft-inflated cover to protect baby’s head in the bath. 19. Remember, if they aren't meant to have it, they'll want it, so move it! 20. And, on a less serious note: Eat all the chocolate that comes into the house. It's not good for your baby’s health. Posted by TOMSTired of spam?
