Guest guest
i feel that experience of love ,miracles of swami involving u directly will give u the faith in divinity of swami. do u know what is the peak of faith in swami's divinity? ans: to believe that swami is divine, even if he himself tells u personally that he not god. on a white cloth a black(small though it may be) catches ur attention, the same is the case with media. there r 100000000 good realistic things about swami that is not publisised, but a small rumor is hilighted. after u hit a nail into wall u shake it and see whether it will be strong enough to hold the weight or not.similarly after swami gives u experiecnces he will check ur firmness so that he can entrust upon u his job.be firm and become good instrument in the kingdom of swami and pray for experiences Why was V. Guest guest
Sai Ram, Some years ago, when I heard the acusations about Swami's behaviour, I began to question my position with regard to Him. It made me go deeper into myself to find the truth. All I could find was that since Swami had come into my life there have been many changes in me. He has helped me cleanse many aspects of my personality, bringing me closer to my true self. I know that he is accompanying me all the time. Now, whenever I hear or read anything detrimental about Swami, my answer is always, "I cannot judge His behaviour with others, I can only be grateful for the changes that have occurred in me since I became aware of His presence in my life". With Light & Blessings, Christine
Guest guest
Sai Ram Brothers and Sisters, I wholeheartedly agree with what Sai Nidesh has related regarding the Question. I will relate my own experience regarding this topic. I came to know Swami in 1975 . A friend of mine gave me a picture of Him and asked me to keep it in my prayer room and to pray to him. Being a Hindu I had pictures of other Hindu Gods as well. One morning as I was praying with my eyes shut, I suddenly noticed some liquid drops on Swami's picture. I didn't take much notice of it and continued praying to Him. I said, " Swami, please bless this humble prayer room with your presence." When I opened my eyes I noticed that Swami had drawn an armchair with the thick honey-like liquid. Only then did I realize that I did not have a chair for Him. I felt miserable. The truth is that I did not know then that I had to have a chair for Him. No Sai devotee mentioned to me about having a chair for Swami. So my friend and I immediately went and purchased the arm chair for Him. My faith towards Him grew from that day on. I bought several pictures of Swami and placed them on the walls. I had so much faith in Swami. I knew that he was Divine because I have experienced His DIVINITY. One day , my sister brought home a book about Swami which was given to her by a lady sitting beside her in the plane. It contained unpleasant articles about Swami. She asked me to read it but I refused . She then left the book on my sister's bed and asked her to read it. I saw the book on the bed and being inquisitive , I just wanted to know what it was all about. I picked up the book and started reading the synopsis at the back of the book.Suddenly I started having a slight doubt and suddenly I heard a stern voice telling me to take all the pictures in the prayer room and to throw them away. The voice kept repeating the message. Suddenly I realized that it was Swami's voice and I begged Swami to forgive me for what I had done and thought. I told Him that I have full faith in Him and that no one can take that away from me no matter how they tried. This incident ,I think, was a test for me. So brothers and sisters please have 100% Faith in Swami. HE IS DIVINE. Please do not read any unpleasant articles about Swami. If you come across any please delete it. May we all experience Swami's Divine Love and Grace. Jai Sai Ram Devi Ponniah happens Movies - Search movie info and celeb profiles and photos. Guest guest
I too have had the experience of feeling shaken on the two occasions whenI have read these unpleasant things about Swami. Having belonged in the past to a spiritual group which I later chose to leave, one thing I learned at that time is that one should always use one's common sense, and never, ever abandon that. No matter what situation we are in, our common sense is usually our greatest friend and protector. In the case of the unpleasant statements about Swami, each time I have felt shaken I have tried to rigorously apply my own common sense to reflect and analyse what I have read and compare it to what else I know of Swami. I ask myself whether I saw evidence of anything like that when I was in Puttaparthi. My answer is no. I ask myself whether any of the accusations have been supported by strong, credible objective evidence. My answer is no. I ask myself whether I have seen other manifestations of ego in what I have seen of and have read and heard about Swami. My answer is no. I ask myself whether I have seen any other evidence of Swami not living out his own teachings, my answer is a resounding NO. I ask myself whether I can see evidence that Swami is a force for good in the world, my answer is an overwhelming YES. I ask myself whether I believe Swami's teachings to be true, in the deepest part of myself - my answer is Yes. I ask myself whether I would want to live by them, even if Swami wasn't here. My answer is YES. I ask myself whether I want to keep trying to live more the life he is asking us to live, my answer is yes. I ask myself whether I really believe that would make the world a better place. My answer is YES. I ask myself whether I believe it is possible that the millions of overwhelmingly good stories about Swami could somehow be false - my answer is NO. I ask myself whether I have ever felt coerced or intimidated. My answer is NO. I ask myself whether I have myself ever experienced people making false claims in relation to Swami. My answer is Yes. I myself, when I was in Puttaparthi, on three occasions met people who claimed to have been granted special healing powers from Swami. In each case their claim proved not to be true. The person they tried to heal showed no improvement, even though at the outset they were insistent they could heal that person. All sorts of people are drawn to great spiritual teachers, for all sorts of reasons. We must always be aware of this and, without condemnation, use our common sense to discriminate between what is true and what is not. My common sense tells me that amongs the millions who go to see Swami, all sorts of false claims, good and bad, are likely to occur. I believe that each one of us needs to protect what is good in us, and encourage it to grow - and use large amounts of common sense and discrimination in the process. In the end, only those people who were actually there with Swami know for sure exactly what happened because they saw it with their own eyes. None of us who weren't there can testify as to what happened, so I must rely on my own common sense and what I believe to be true deep inside me. It is only inside ourselves that we can find our truth. In the depths of my being, I respond to Swami's teachings, even though I often do not manage to live up to them as I would like. In the depths of my being I know his teachings to be true. When I am talking with others about Truth, Love, Right-Conduct, Peace and Non-Violence, do I see those values being drawn out in each of those present, as Swami says they will?My answer is YES. I ask myself whether amonst Swami's devotees I see people who are genuinely trying to live his message. My answer is YES.z I love Swami because of the way he and his teachings effect me and help me to gradually become more whole and more truly human. I love Swami because I see that same thing in so many other Sai followers. I love Swami because I love the feeling I get inside when I am with other devotees, and when I do some humble service of some kind. I love Swami because I have never had this same kind of inner experience until I came into his sphere. What I do not yet know is vast. May my faith in what Swami is teaching us grow ever stronger until the time comes that I know all, through my own eyes and I too have become pure truth. Some of the people I have met in the Sai fold have been such incredibly beautiful beings that they do and will always remain, alongside Swami himself, role models of 'steps on the way' to what I myself wish to become, and I feel so very blessed to have met them. Even to think of them makes my heart soar and I wish to thank Swami from deep in my heart for the richness he has brought into my soul. With love to all my Sai brothers and sisters. Sai Ram, With love, Christina
