Sai Darshan news 18th April -2006 Kodaikanal (morning)

18th April, Today morning Swami came out to grant His darshan at 8.15 a.m. First

the curtain was opened and the glass, then came Swami. Bhaagavan stayed on the

balcony place for quite a while before coming to actual darshan rows. Maybe

8.15 a.m is normal for Puttaparthi but at Kodaikanal it is still early for

darshan. So everyone was taken by surprise. It is indeed quite amusing to

observe the activities around Swami when he comes "unscheduled"- every one is

on the double, waiting devotees rush to their respective places, Bhajan singers

run to take specific seats, Sevadal gets extra attentive. The staff and “VIP’s”

talking leisurely before suddenly sober up. And the Men side was not even

filled up; they have to cross the ladies side to come over to their respective

places. So the devotees were coming with their heads bent looking at Swami,

doing pranams and walking hurriedly to take their respective seats for darshan.

Swami was enjoying it all , smiling and looking at the devotees with so much

kindness and love. Finally everyone settled and bhajans also started. Today

Swami took lots of letters from the devotees. Swami also gifted tri colour

(guess colours of Indian flag) pouches with gift inside to local school girls;

they had come to see Swami today. Swami was throwing the pouches from the

corner of His balcony and the girls were catching them, one of the pouch

landed on a girls head, smilingly she looked up towards Swami and Bhagavan too

laughed. It was quite an amusing happening. Today Swami went outside on His car

followed by 2 buses filled with boy students etc; Usually Swami takes the

students out for a quick picnic lunch or some other interesting picturesque

spot. Swami was back at appx. 11:45 a.m. it is quite greyish weather, not much

Sun today.

Today 18th April, Evening Swami gave a wonderful discourse about Rama, a feast

for eyes, ears & mind; rare revelations about Lord Rama - details of Rama's

engagement and wedding with Sita, Swami also created Sita's Ring, it had 14

Source: SBOIMostly Bhagawan comes out of His Sai Sruthi residence for giving

darshan to devotees between 9 am-9.45 and for bhajan between 3.45 pm.-4.45 His

darshan route is walk/ wheel chair down the porch also sometimes he get into

the golf cart, ride down to the ladies' side, then to the gents' side, take a

turn, and return in the opposite direction back to Sai Sruthi. Bhajans are in

the bhajan hall next to Sai Sruthi, and Bhagawan comes there in the evenings.
