He said that "Anger is necessary for man but you should not express anger on an unnecessary matter..." Read more Today morning Swami came at 8.55, the yesterday's youth group sang nice bhajans this morning, bit different than usual bhajans. Arathi was offered to Bhagavan at 9.45, guess Swami really liked yesterday group since they got an added chance to sing for Swami. After the morning darshan most of the visiting devotees really need a good rest since the weather in Puttaparthi is getting warmer & in this hot sunny season it is really difficult to be so active. So most of the devotees take a nap or relax before coming back to token lines to secure a good darshan seat for the evening darshan. Many devotees are looking forward and praying to Swami that He should travel to Kodaikanal away from Puttaparthi’s hot summer. Moreover, there are strong indications that Swami may travel pretty soon. Generally Swami travels first to Whitefield and from there on to Kodaikanal. Evening: Swami came at 4:15 p.m. after a full darshan round Swami got down from His car near the interview room. As usual the devotees behind the mobile chair steered the chair towards the interview room door but Swami had other plan so He told them to wheel the mobile chair towards the centre stage namely dais. Consequently they turned the mobile chair & wheeled Swami on to the verandah from other side i.e. from right side. On the way Swami collected letters from lot of devotees. After coming on to the dais, Swami looked at the “blessing boys“, with there beautifully decorated trays without further wait Swami called them for blessings, as a result 5 to 6 boys got up & walked towards Swami to receive the divine blessings. After this remaining students with letters also got up and gave their letters. Exceptionally patient & loving Sai, collected their letters & spoke to each & every boy as well as padanamaskaram. Swami stayed on the dais for a short time granting good darshan, after that Swami desired to be wheeled to the interview room. So they started moving the mobile chair in that direction. However, when Swami saw primary school boys sitting on one side with letters in their hands & sad look (since, they thought Swami is leaving for interview room and won’t take their letters today) evidently, Swami’s heart melted, as a result Swami called them all & took letters & blessed them. Sathya the blessed student of 1st standard (he has been getting lots of loving attention from Swami) was also sitting in that group of boys. He also went to Swami to give his letter; Swami took his letter & started talking to him. Swami asked him questions about vedam & asked him to chant, without any delay the little boy chanted the vedam melodically then he went back & sat down on his place. Today Swami was in exceptionally jolly mood, He was talking to lot of boys, Swami spoke with almost all the students from primary School. After finishing talking to the boys Swami proceeded towards bhajan mandir. Also, inside bhajan mandir Swami spoke with all the music college boys and gave them some advice & instructions. At 4:55 p.m. the boys started the evening bhajans, after the first bhajan the boys started singing Meera bhajans, perhaps owing to Swami’s instruction. The boys also sang some completely new Meera bhajans today. Almost 1 hour long bhajans ended at 5:55 p.m. After Aarthi Swami walked towards His car from Bhajan Hall and drove back to His residence. your positive feed back & comments We kindly request all our readers to send in their personal experience with Swami i.e. miraculous, spiritual and of Sai Darshan. Meera or Meera Bayi as she is known was born in 1547 A.D. and left this world in 1614 A.D. She was an intense devotee of Lord Krishna. Her songs are composed in the agony and ecstasy of devotion. Hence her songs of bhakti are one of India’s richest heritage and a legacy of all seekers on the royal road to God through the path of devotion.Meera Bayi was born as a princess and so she was married to the prince of one of the major Rajput kingdoms of those times. Soon after marriage she faced widowhood and her intense devotion towards Lord Krishna, which she had since her infancy, grew even more now and soon became so dense that Meera remained blissful all the time totally immersed in her love for her Lord. Intoxicated with intense devotion for her beloved, unable to bear the separation from Him, she poured out her heart in her songs. Lost in bliss she used to dance in ecstasy. Her family could neither understand nor condone her “strange” behaviour and would hence torture her in many ways. At last she left the confines of the palace and went on a pilgrimage. While having darshan of Ranachodji in Dwarka, she merged in Him her Beloved!Meera in ecstasy Why is her bhajans so appealing to the Lord? Because each word of each song drips with the bhava (feeling) of intense devotion. After all the Lord does not look at the devotee, He only looks at his or her devotion. And Meera’s songs are so overpowering, so intoxicating, coming straight as they do from the deepest and innermost recesses of her heart, that it is no wonder that she has also fully won her Lord’s heart for eternity!
