Guest guest
working as a pilot in the Indian Airlines, had a very good experience. He was given the job of taking the flight from Delhi to Srinagar and back to Delhi. He took the flight from Delhi to Srinager very smoothly but while coming back, he was informed that the sky was cloudy in Delhi...So he stayed a day in Srinagar and started the next day. While coming back, the plane started shaking. All the passengers were afraid and they immediately approached the pilot. The pilot came to know from the rader that the plane has been caught up in the belt of clouds. Bhagavan had materialized a ring for this devotee and had told him, "Whenever you are in trouble, remember Me. "So he looked at the ring and said "Swami, I am leaving it all to you. To his utter surprise, he saw clouds making way for him, an arched door opened and a green light showed him the way through the clouds. Sometime later he saw Delhi airport just underneath. After that, he landed safely and all the lives of the devotees were saved. This shows how Bhagavan protects His devotees when they completely surrender to Him. One should always remember our Lord Sai for He alone can help us to cross this ocean of Samsara. Self surrender is indeed very important. Bhagavan says, "Love all and serve all." ...The principle of Saranthahgati or surrender is "Serve whom you love and love whom you serve." For this principle of Ssrangathi, today is a curtain between man and god. On account of this curtain today, man is in a state of doubt and confusion and feels himself unable to surrender to God. What is this curtain?...This curtain is nothing but illusion-... Maya. What is the meaning of illusion?...Illusion refers to that doest not exist. Imaging that which does not exist, but to exist is itself Maya...Nothing is permanent in this world except Truth, that is God, the only one without a second one. The world which is made up of so many things cannot be true, so it does not really exist at all. At this juncture, I would like to narrate one story. Once there was a devotee of Lord Narayana who was a great scholar. Once he displayed his scholarship in front of King. The Kind was very pleased and gifted him a silken robe on sandy bank and sat for his meditation and japa. Because of the forceful wind the silken robe was blown away. When he got up from his meditation, he saw that his robe was not there and his eyes fell upon a washer man who was washing a robe which was similar to his...So he went to the washer man and asked for his robe. The man replied, that he was from the kingdom and the robe was of king. They were both arguing and at last stage came when the washer man lifted his hand to slap the scholar...The scholar at that time shouted "Oh Lord Narayana, save me." Lord Narayana from Vaikunta, got up from His throne took few steps towards the Earth, and immediately returned back and resumed His seat. After watching this strange behavior, His consort, Lakshmi, asked Him what the reason of His behavior was. .. At that point Lord Narayana said, "When My devotee called Me to save him, I thought of saving him, but he lost temper and started giving return blows to the washer man, so I came back and resumed My seat.". This shows that as long as man thinks he can defend himself, God will not come for his rescue. So we should completely surrender to our Lord.
