Dear Reader,

Loving Sairam from the Heart2Heart Team.

Prasanthi Bulletin is updated till January 29th 2006.

What is true freedom? Swami explains to us today.

Sai Inspires - 1st February 2006

You must learn to stand on your own legs and not to depend on others. You must

rely on the Divine and not become subservient to others in worldly matters.

That alone is true freedom. Free will means knowledge of the Atma or Spirit.

Self-control is true freedom. Spiritual bliss is freedom. Self-realization is

freedom. Exercising one’s free will does not consist in living according to

one’s whims and fancies, indulging the fleeting pleasures of the senses and

wasting one’s entire life in experiencing momentary joys. It means acting

according to the dictates of one’s conscience.

- Divine Discourse, 22nd May 1992.

The End of Wisdom is Freedom - Baba
