round the devotees by car and got down near the interview room and came out to

the lobby at 3 pm and was sitting in the lobby listening to the Vedas. At 3.20

pm, He asked the boys to take the chair round the devotees. He came out from

the eastern end of the verandah and went round the gents' side and went to the

ladies' side. He picked up around 10 ladies for interview and returned to the

interview room. All the devotees had a very good Darshan. The interview went on

from 3.40 pm. Swami returned to Poornachandra hall at 4.50 pm. Bhajans started

at 5 pm. Swami then returned to Sai Kulwant Hall/ Bhajan Hall at 5.15 pm and

after a song, aarathi was performed at 5.20 pm and Swami left. 01 JAN 2006

Morning Devotees had gathered right from the morning. Local Nadaswaram troupe

started playing on the Nadaswaram from 7 am. There were flower decoration of

the Ganesha and the arch at lobby done by the old students. Other than that

there were no

decorations in Sai Kulwant Hall except a few banners saying Happy new year in

English, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Tamil. Bhajans did not start at the usual

time of 9 am. Swami came at 9.25 am and after the round got down near the

interview room and cut a cake kept near the interview room. He then came to the

lobby and sat down. He sat listening to the Veda Chants till 9.45 am. He then

asked the University band group to play till 10.15 am. At 10.15 am, he asked

the students to start their music program. The music program was over at 10.40

am and swami left after aarathi. AfternoonIn the afternoon, Swami came at 4 pm

and after the round got down near the interview room and came to the lobby. He

sat listening to the Veda Chants till 5 pm. He then asked the old boys to start

their music program, which they did at 5.05 pm. The program lasted almost an

hour with aarathi being performed at 6.05 pm. Packets containing sweet (laddu)

and a plastic sachet of salty badushas

(both put inside an attractive carton over which was written 25 years Old

Students) were distributed to the devotees and Swami left after aarathi.
