and go. But, what does ‘birthday’ signify for the One, Who is Immortal? …the

SathyabodhakaSathyam Sivam Sundaram …I am the Teacher of Truth, Truth-Goodness

and Beauty –One who is beyond the perception of high-flying humans and their

much egotistic intelligence? Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has been with us…in

His unique Avataric Mission…tending human souls…transforming human minds…in His

at large, the task this Eternal Being has taken upon Himself…in consonance with

on firm footing, I incarnate from age to age. Ever since He staged the Divine

Drama of throwing away His books, on that momentous day of 20th October 1940,to

openly declare that He belongs to His devotees, He has been in

action…selflessly, sending the strong signal to the human hearts…to follow

suit. His Life has been an open book, a book in which the essence of Divinity,

The Truth behind all Truths is inscribed in golden letters. His famous adage,

“My Life is My Message” is undoubtedly the only one of its kind and it is

obvious that Bhagawan expects His millions to follow His teachings to make our

lives His message. What do we have to offer Him, who dwells in our

hearts as an eternal souvenir proclaiming our divine origin? Perhaps, man can

offer nothing! We can keep Him in the deep recess of our hearts as our most

treasured souvenir, by following Him and by adhering to His Teachings.For man,

HE has been the greatest ‘gift’ from Eternal Heaven; His darshan has been the

greatest of the boons conferred on humanity. What a glorious period of 80 years

of human existence for us living here on this earth! The loving glory of the

Avatar flowed like a murmuring pellucid stream bestowing its bounty and cool on

millions and millions of inhabitants on its banks in hills and dales, on curves

and plains and on sands and rocks, with ease and grace, showering benediction

on all, east or west, black, yellow, brown or white – embracing all in its

clasp. Eighty long years, appears to be so short a time to enjoy the nectarous

Divine Presence in physical frame. Thousands have been corrected and

straightened, advised and admonished, sheltered and rehabilitated, clothed, fed

and educated, nursed and cured, guarded, guided and transformed every day, nay,

every hour, all over the globe – no rest, no sleep. O Divine Father! How greatly

indebted are we to you! Our heads bow low in gratitude at Thy Divine Lotus
