Devote your time to the service of the world, irrespective of the results

thereof, then you will become blessed. Mere inactivity of the body will not

stop the mind from being busy and committing many acts on its own. One can

fall a prey to karma in that way, in spite of not doing anything! When a

person’s mind is fixed in contemplation of God and the pursuit of Truth, the

body and senses can continue to do acts of service for the world and one’s

karma will not be affected thereby. Though that person acts, he will not be a

‘doer’ of actions.
