Dear Reader,

Loving Sairam from the Heart2Heart Team.

Three things needed to progress spirituality... Swami tells us today.

Sai Inspires - 3rd December 2005

Three things are needed for you to progress in spirituality: a heart free from

attachment and hatred, a tongue that is not tainted by untruth, and a body that

is not polluted by violence. Without these three, all penances and religious

practices are of no use. You must pray incessantly for these qualities.

Realize that the divine is within you. Life is given to you for you to realize

lasting bliss by the right use of the body, the mind, the intellect, and the

inner motivator (Ahamkara). You have to acquire the wisdom to lead such a life

based on the love of God.

- Divine Discourse, 13th February, 1997.
