Happy New year to devotees from Gujarat. <<back to sainews Subscribe to Group ...there was a march by the devotees from Gujarat. They were pulling a chariot and singing bhajans. The name of the march was called "Sai Avatar Darshan Yatra". They were wearing Pink scarfs around neck and singing bhajans. They even had a loud speaker so all the devotees could hear the bhajans. They sang bhajans like "Aana he padaga Baba Aana hi Padaga ( you have to come our Swami you have to come)". Tomorrow is the Gujarat New Year so many devotees are here for that event:Diwali (Gujarat) New Year North-western Indian state of Gujarat celebrates it's New Year festival of Diwali in the months of October or November.Diwali is one of the most ancient Hindu festivals, which symbolises the triumph of good over evil. It is only in Gujarat that it is considered as the New Year festival. In fact the second day of the festival is actually the New year's Day of Gujarati.<<back to sainewsAcknowledgement:online source:puttaparthi.org - source: web graphic/picture/ photo assemblage: .com Attachment: (image/jpeg) sai_news_diwali_2005.jpg [not stored] Attachment: (image/gif) contact.gif [not stored] Attachment: (image/gif) disclaimer.gif [not stored] Attachment: (image/gif) sboi_group.gif [not stored] Attachment: (image/gif) links_sai.gif [not stored] Attachment: (image/gif) lsnews.gif [not stored] Attachment: (image/gif) tftd.gif [not stored] Attachment: (image/gif) avmp3.gif [not stored] Attachment: (image/jpeg) sai_baba_gujrati_new_year.jpg [not stored]
