God is described as 'Sath-Chith-Ananda'. 'Sath' is being. 'Chith' is

awareness. When 'Sath' and 'Chith' come together, there is Ananda

(divine bliss). 'Sath' may be compared to sugar, 'Chith' may be

compared to water. When the two are brought together you have a syrup,

an enjoyable sweet drink. Likewise, only when 'Sath' and 'Chith' come

together, Ananda is experienced.
