Saibaba back from vacation, blesses devotees at Prashanti NilayamMonday June 20

2005 12:33 IST ANANTAPUR: Satya Saibaba returned to Prashanti Nilayam at

Puttaparthi last evening after two-month stay at Kodaikanal and White Fields in

Bangalore. He left Puttaparti after Ugadi. With his arrival there was an air of

festivity in Puttaparti with devotees thronging the shops. As soon as he landed

at Puttaparti, Satya Saibaba went to Prashanti Nilayam and came back to give

darshan to the devotees who gave him a standing ovation. He also gave darshan

to them in the evening.Baba met with an accident in the bathroom during his

stay at Kodaikandal and while at Whitefield he used to give darshan by going

round in a mini-car. Noticing the anxiety of the devotees at Puttaparti on

Sunday, Saibaba got up from his seat to show that he was okay.Since Baba’s

birthday celebrations were held at a low key last year, the businessmen have

been expecting the 80th birth anniversary fete this year to be a grand affair.

Even foreign devotees are expected to visit Puttaparti in two or three days

from now.
