Guest guest
Embodiment of Mercy The weather in Whitefield is pleasant the sky above is clear and blue. Sky is not the only thing which is blue. Mood of many devotees at Whitefield is also blue! though, It seems the sad mood of Devotees is turning into one of self-contemplation, everywhere you can hear the discussions regarding Swami's fall, some devotees are very sad some anxious about Swami's Darshan, --- would He be "regular" at His Darshan? Now, that they have travelled from so far away for just that. The old Devotees are calmer they have seen many a divine leela– He is plays! The side walk café's, restaurants and the cold drink shops filled with Devotees from all walks of life discussing, analyzing and trying to figure out what does this "accident" means. Every Action of Avatar has some meaning & lesson – My life is my message is His avowal. It seems all this talk is only making everyone more confused, guess we must follow the road of silence, inside us, deep inside our heart where the divine resides are the answers to all the questions. Alas, its easier to look for answers outside but dear mind you'll find only Ashanthi, misinterpretation and more questions. "Man is endowed with the special instrument of discrimination, of judgement, of analysis and synthesis, which among all animals, he alone possesses. He has to develop this and utilise it to the best purpose. Through this instrument, he can realise the Immanent Divinity." Says Sai Baba God never takes rest He is always taking care of His children, He will gladly take on Himself the mishaps of his devotees and non devotees, all are His. This will not be the first time He is suffering for the sake of His earthly children. O' dear mind let me tell you the story of this Avatars previous body – Shirdi Sai Baba read carefully O mind about His All-pervasiveness and Mercy perhaps you'll realize & find the answer. "In the year 1910 A.D., Baba was sitting near the Dhuni on Divali holiday and warming Himself. He was pushing fire-wood into the Dhuni, which was brightly burning. A little later, instead of pushing logs of woods, Baba pushed His arm into the Dhuni; the arm was scorched and burnt immediately. This was noticed by the servant Madhava, and also by Madhavrao Deshpande (Shama). They at once ran to Baba and Madhavarao clasped Baba by His waist from behind and dragged Him forcible back ward and asked, "Deva, for what have You done this?" Then Baba came to His senses and replied, "The wife of a blacksmith at some distant place, was working the bellows of a furnace; her husband called her. Forgetting that her child was on her waist, she ran hastily and the child slipped into the furnace. I immediately thrust My hand into the furnace and saved the child. I do not mind My arm being burnt, but I am glad that the life of the child is saved." O' mind He is the same Sai - Sathya Sai Baba the embodiment of Mercy! Gladly suffering for His earthly children.
