HAPPY UGADHI

Sai Ram brothers and sisters,

 

Wishing you all a very happy Ugadi (the New Year, or New Age,

literally). Let us all pray to Bhagawan to bless all of us, and

everyone, with happiness, good health and take us closer to God. May

He be with us always and guide us at all times.

 

Swami has also moved into His new residence this morning around

8.30am. The building in which the source and Master of all Vedas and

Vedanta now resides has been appropriately named "Yajur Mandiram",

probably bearing a relation to the Yajur Veda. The vedam boys were

made to sit just near the entrance of the new building and chanted

Vedas for about 30 minutes with Swami sitting inside with the doors

open and facing these boys.

 

It is common in Indian tradition to feed lots of people on occassions

such as moving into a new house, or "Griha Pravesham". Swami too

organized a fabulous meal for all the boys and girls - the Brindavan,

Anantapur and even the Muddanahalle and Alike school boys had come.

And the biggest surprise was the venue for this meal - the

Poornachandra auditorium!! And an even bigger surprise - Swami had

organized tables and chairs for the boys and girls to eat food rather

than sit on the floor! It was not just the present students but also

those who are waiting in Parthy for Swami's instructions, and the old

students including those who just reached Parthy this morning were

all invited to join. It was a grand feast, they said.

 

This is a happy and joyous occassion for all of us too. Let us

celebrate in our way and pray for the good physical health of Swami.

And may His Love and Grace fill our hearts and guide our paths.

 

Once again, wishing you all a very Happy Ugadi, a Happy Gudi Padwa,

the dawn of a new age, the start of a Holy period in our hearts.
