mind. Let all the senses and mind be ever devoted to the worship of the Lord.

Let there be no attraction for any other thing". While thinking of Shri

Shirdi Sai, we must remember Shri Sai, as the Param Sadguru or the Supreme

Perfect Master is God, is in God and will always remain as God. He had

embodied Himself by the love aspect of God for the suffering lot and that

His kindness is unfathomable. His job is to carry out the functions of God –

creation, sustenance and destruction, and to lead souls in their spiritual

journey towards Divinity. After leaving the body He is there in His God

State, as a Cosmic reality. He is looking after His devotees and children as

much today as he used to when he was at Shirdi. His devotees may go on taking

birth life after life, but Shri Sai will be there always to help and guide them

towards happiness and spiritual evolution. We must, therefore, make Him our

mainstay of life and pray to Him with all our heart and soul. Baba Said....

"Fix the mind in remembering Me always, so that it will not wander elsewhere,

towards body, wealth and home. Then it will be calm, peaceful and carefree.

This is the sign of the mind, being well engaged in go0d company. If the mind

is vagrant, it cannot be called well-merged!". Human consciousness and Divine

consciousnessConsciousness is the inner

spark or inner link in us, the golden link within us that connects our highest

and most illumined part with our lowest and most unillumined part.

Consciousness is the connecting link between Heaven and earth.Human

consciousness is made up primarily of limitation, imperfection, bondage and

ignorance. This consciousness wants to remain here on earth. It gets joy in the

finite: in family, in society, in earthly affairs. Divine consciousness is made

up of peace, bliss, divine power and so forth. Its nature is to expand

constantly. Human consciousness feels there is nothing more important than

earthly pleasure. Divine consciousness feels there is nothing more important

and significant than heavenly joy and bliss on earth. Human consciousness tries

to convince us that we are nowhere near Truth or fulfillment. It tries to make

us feel that Baba is somewhere else, millions of miles away from us. But divine

consciousness makes us feel that Baba is right here, inside each life-breath,

inside each heartbeat, inside everyone and everything around us. Baba Said....

"The Most effective and speedy way to gain our object is to approach a worthy

Saint or Sadguru, who has Himself attained God-vision.". How to conquer

ego?The ego is that very thing which limits us in every sphere of life. We are

Baba's children; we are one with Baba. But the ego makes us feel that we do not

belong to Baba, that we are perfect strangers to Him.Ego is separativity and

individuality.

Separativity and human individuality cannot live in the sea of oneness and

universality. The ego deals only with the person and his possessions. If we

deal with the Universal Consciousness, we become the entire universe. In this

consciousness we do not act like a tiny individual who can only claim himself

and feel, "This is my property. This is my capacity. This is my achievement."

No, at that time we will say, "All achievements are mine. There is nothing that

I cannot claim as my very own."The easiest way to conquer ego is to offer

gratitude to Baba for five minutes daily. Then you will feel that inside you a

sweet, fragrant and beautiful flower is growing. That is the flower of

humility. When you offer Him your gratitude, Baba gives you something most

beautiful, which is humility. Once it has seen the flower of humility, the ego

goes away because it feels that it can become something better: universal

oneness.The ego always tries to possess things for itself. But

when we transcend ego, we try to give everything for Baba's Satisfaction, for

the world's satisfaction and for our soul's satisfaction. Question : What is

the reason that human beings want the feeling of compassion the most in God?

Answer: Human being wants the feeling of compassion the most in God, because

people lack the power of compassion the most. We ask for something, which is

lacking in us. God is ‘bhava’, we are ‘abhava’ i.e. lack of ’bhava’. If a man’s

heart is filled with the power of compassion then why should he ask for

compassion from God? In that case he would reach the state of God himself.

Divine compassion and grace is being showered

continuously. It is necessary that one should have the worthiness in oneself and

the ability to receive it. That comes from the evolvement of consciousness

through lives. If human does not lack anything in life or if he gets everything

he wants in life then he will not pray to God. Question : What type of human

beings Baba really loves? Answer: Baba is in the God State. He sees himself

in every one and hence loves everyone. Only if the quality of love is

universally expanded in us we shall receive His love. The more love we have in

us, the more we experience Him. Ultimately, we will experience that Baba, God

and our self is one and the same
