Guest guest
Kleem Krishnaya Govindaya Gopeejanavallabahya Swaha Sai Ram Brothers & Sisters, This afternoon Swami gave His Darshan at 3.30pm. Swami in His orange robe was driven by Padmanabhan was seated in the Toyota Porte. Veda chanting and darshan music welcomed Swami into the Sai Kulwant Hall. Swami's car went pass the sister's side and then pass Swami's students and to the gents' side and made a turn towards the verandah. When Swami's car was passing by the ladies side, He was smiling so sweetly, cutely and He looked so child like, just like Bala Krishna. He just looked so sweet that I wanted to jump up and run towards Him to pinch both His cheeks. Swami's car was then parked on the gents' side on the verandah. Swami was seated in His car for a good half an hour with the window up. Then, after 10 minutes Swami told Mr Chakravarthy who was seated in the back seat to go out and call Mr Gokak (vice-chancellor). Mr Gokak approached the car and Swami gave him some instructions. After half an hour or so, Swami's seat was out with Swami in it. Swami was pushed to the dais and we were all hoping for a Divine Discourse. Swami was seated on the dais and we had good Darshan of Swami from hair to legs. After some time, Mr Gokak came to the mike and announced that 2 students were going to give their speech. The 1st was Dr Sainath. Some excerpts from his speech:- Once Swami had instructed Sainath and another student to take care of a VIP in the guest house. When they were on duty at the guest house, a guest of the VIP came to see the VIP with his sandals on. Sainath nicely told him to remove his sandals, but the guest just brushed him aside. Sainath approached him a second time and told him that he would be glad to take his sandals and leave them outside. The guest again brushed him aside. Then the other student having witnessed everything told the guest in a little harsh tone that if he did not obey instruction, he would have to complain to the VIP about the guest's behaviour. The guest immediately complied. The next day during Darshan, Swami went up to Sainath and asked him what transpired the day before and Sainath told Swami everything. Then Swami told him "It's good to speak sweetly and softly, but at times you also need to be firm and loud." Then Swami went into the mandir and met the other boy and asked him the same question. The boy related the events and Swami told him "Bangaroo, it's good to be firm and loud, but at times you need to speak softly and sweetly." Dr Sainath was telling us the incident in order to state that Swami uses the same situation to relay different messages to us as He has an individual and special relationship with each and one of us. On another occasion, Sainath was busy with his friends packing the bus, as they were all traveling to Kodaikannal with Swami. Swami had a checklist and had called Sainath and his friends to enquire that they had packed everything on His checklist. Then Sainath and his friends said they had packed everything and that the bus was full. To this Swami replied "Then where is there space for me in the bus?" To this Sainath and his friends replied "Swami, we will make space for you in the bus." Swami's face fell and he told them "I don't want space in lifeless things. Why don't you say You are mine; I want space in your hearts." The 2nd speaker, Bro Sesha Shah spoke about the common principle between Krishna and Swami and related a few incidents from the life of Krishna and Swami to re-iterate his point that both Krishna and Swami are the one and same – Sai Krishna. After the 2 speeches, Swami's institute boys sang soulful renditions of the Madhurashtakam (8 stanzas on the sweetness of Krishna), Krishnashtakam (8 stanzas singing the praise and glory of Krishna), Jayadevas' kirtis and other kirtans. Then, bhajans were sung by Swami's institute boys in the portico. They were soul lifting and transported all of us to the Dwapara Yuga to be with our Dwarakamayi. Swami then instructed for prasadam to be distributed to everyone and He blessed the prasadam. While bhajans were being sung the sevadals distributed prasadam – almond, orange burfi. After about 6 Krishna bhajans, aarathi was shown to Swami at about 5.50pm. Swami's seat was pushed to the Toyota Porte and the car went toward His residence in the Poornachandra. It was confirmed NO Divine Discourse for Krishna Janmaashtami! Somehow, I wasn't sad. What a blessed day! To celebrate Krishna Janmaashtami with Krishna Himself in the kali yuga! No complains from me. With Krishna, saras
