Necklace of Nine Gems. Story of Swami Maheshwaranand

Baba, according to Swami Maheshwaranand, a spiritual leader in his own right,

says Baba materialized, and (Akshata Patra), a divine inexhaustible vessel to a

group of eleven devotees engaged in their quest for God-realization in the Nara

Nayan caves in (Badrinath) region of snow-covered Himalayas.

Writing in his engrossing book, Nara Narayan Gufa, Swami Maheshwaranand says

that the spiritual aspirant the cave get a regular supply of rich variety of

food everyday to save them time and botheration of finding food in the desolate

snow-clad mountains and cooking it. The food is not just enough for Baba’s

devotees engaged in meditation in the cave, but also catered in of several

renowned saints and sages who are engaged in penance for their ultimate

liberation from the cycle of births and deaths in the Himalayas.

Baba’s following explanation (as given in Sathya Sivam Sundaram) about the

significance of His Characteristic gesticulating with His hands reveals His

unique way of communicating with, and extending help to people is distant parts

of the world.

You find Me gesticulating with My hands or fingers. Sometimes it appears

as if I am writing in the air. People are curious to know why.? At such times I

am communicating with people you cannot see. I am engaged in tasks that you

cannot understand. I write replies to questions asked by someone far away, and

help thousands of people in every part of world.

We have to travel far beyond to be able to know actually, how fortunate each of

us is in to be with Bhagavan. What we see of Him today is a very minutes

spectacle of what He actually is. Each of us is on a long journey from ( I to

We ) from us to ourselves and we are immensely fortunate to have our goal,

Bhagavan, as our Guide to guide us throughout so that we may be an ideal

instruments in His hands, leading a life of peace & harmony.
