LOVE IN ACTION

30th Anniversary of Kobe Sai Center & 8th National conference of SSOJ Japan.

 

Let me start with a prayer to Swami.

Tume va mata, cha pita tume va

Tume va Bandu cha sakha tume va

Tume va Vidha darvenam tume va

Oh Lord You are my mother…

You are my father…

You are my teacher…

Dear Sai Brothers & Sisters …Sai Ram.

 

Humble Prannams at the Divine Lotus feet of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. And my

Pranaams to all the divine lights that I see before me, my Sai Brothers and

Sisters

 

Today we celebrate the auspicious occasion of the 30th Anniversary of Kobe Sai

center and 8th National Conference of Sathya Sai Organization in grateful

appreciation to our Lord Sai.

 

Let me express my gratitude from the bottom of my heart, to all Colleagues and

the Japan Sai Family, for giving me an opportunity to serve in the Sai Mission.

 

We have all witnessed in the video presentation, how 30 years back, The

Organization stared from Kobe. And slowly expanded all throughout Japan

steadily. The sai family has Blossomed into a divine tree, watered and

nourished by the divine grace of Sai. One can see the love and devotion of so

many devotees. Today we are happy to say that

we have 24 Japanese groups and centers all over Japan, shinning like a bright

stars in the sky and spreading the light and love all over the region. I pray

to Swami to give us strength Love and understanding between us, to always walk

on the path of unity-purity and divinity.

 

I am grateful to our loving mentors and the divine guides, our respected Sri

Indulal Shah and our loving Br. Hira, Br L.P.Chablani and Br. Dayal, for giving

us support and encouragement to carry on with this noble work. Please accept my

grateful thanks.

 

Puttaparthi the holiest of holy place on earth, has been constantly giving us

clarion calls to the world, and my first trip with my family to see our Lord

was in 1961…we learned from our relatives that Swami is a Holy man, who would

grant interviews, materialize objects and predict the future. Swami’s call made

us to come to Puttaparthi and

seek His blessings.

 

We made a plan to take trip to Bangalore, and after few days rest, we proceeded

to Puttaparthi. At that time Journey from Bangalore to Puttaparthi was not

easy. From Bukkapatnam we traveled few kilometers by Bullock cart and muddy

roads.

 

It took us about 10 hours to reach Puttaparthi, as the roads were cut in many

places and there was no lights on the road, except the lights from the passing

cars, rest was all darkness. Later on the way the driver told us about the

robbers, who some times appear from now where blocking our road, asking for

money and other things, that is why Swami suggest us to leave after morning

darshans, so you can reach in day light.

 

When I recall the situation in those days some 45 years ago, and especially when

we are traveling with family & children, every mile of Journey looks too long,

and the thought of robbers made us fearful and nervous, but praying to Swami,

He took care of us safely.

 

Finally we reached the divine valley at night about 8pm, we did not know how to

get acconodation Prof Kasturi smiling gave us a warm welcome, and lead us in

the room. He also gave us a mosquito nets to sleep. Prof Kasturi then told us

for morning darshans. We were very tired so we went to sleep

immediately.

 

Next morning we got ready at 7.30 AM. We went to Mandir place and there, I saw

few devotees waiting for Swami’s darshans. Exactly at 8 A.M. door opened and

Swami appear in blissful smile in an orange Robe, and singling us to come with

all family members for interview.

 

We went inside and I bowed down deeply at His Lotus feet. Baba kept His arm

around my shoulder and talked to me for some time, giving me some instructions

to follow, then one by one Swami talked

to my wife, and my mother and my brother-in-law Mohan Mirpuri. The blissful

moment of Swami’s love is imprinted in my heart for ever, and there after

during my many trips, Swami calls us and gives more interview. In the course of

time, slowly all my doubts were disappread. From than onwards my life completely

changed, as I came into the (Uric field) of Lord Sai. This is how I became an

ardent Sai devotee. All this is possible because of Swami’s grace.

 

Br. Kubchandani came to Japan, and he contected me as Sai devotee, to start Sai

bhajans he had experience about Swami's teachings, and guided us to start

bhajans. I contacted Br.Daswani who was very close and dear friend and he

agreed also Br Ramnanlal, Br Gope Chugani, and few friends came together. We

started Bhajans in rotation in devotees

houses and all became Sai family. Later Br Dayal came to join us. It was a very

happy time and we were all united in one common bond to serve all and love all.

 

After sometime we started Bal-Vikas program and study circles, to share Swami’s

love & His message with devotees. It was Swami’s will as the time was right,

and Baba saw the need and graced us with the inception of I.S.S mandir to give

shelter to his devotees under His divine umbrella.

 

We were like the birds coming out of our shells, learning to fly and our first

efforts were very feeble and delicate. But as the time went by, the grace of

the Lord made us strong and unshakable. and we were able to take off by doing

seva, educatioal and culture activities in His mission. Later

blood donations, hospitals visits, orphan houses, handicapped houses, and many

other activities inspired us to do more, and with His divine grace Swami’s

message was spreading.

 

During the course of time, we learned very important lesson. FAITH…(Faith also

comes by actually venturing with courge and eventually making us strong like a

rock and unshakable) and once that is achieved, then there is no looking back.

We must learn to live by faith.

 

We prayed to Swami to help us, we did not know how to sing bhajans. We were new

and our of tune, Br L.P.Chablani came forward, he taught, how to sing with tune

& devotion. Br Mahesh and Br Manu came with Tabla and instruments. With Swami’s

grace and support of Indians, Japanese like Sis Yamamoto, Br Makino and many

others in the

organization started to grow.

 

Once Br Hira took aboutt 300 Japanese devotees for Buddha Poornima festival. I

feel from that day Onwards, the grace of Sai, the participation of Japanese

devotees increased in number. Today we see many Japanese sing Hindi and

Japanese Bhajans so beautifully from their hearts, they Love Swami very much

and they do lot of seva. It is so nice to see them transformed into Divine

beings, spreading the message of Love in Japan.

 

Every Avatar has got His own mision and Vision, which is never for His own

benefit. God comes to the world for the benefit of the mankind. We are fortunes

that we are all living in the same period when God has come in human form. He

has a Mission and it is “Dharma”. God in this present advent is trying to teach

the mankind that every living creature is part of divinity, and that we should

love everybody and serve everybody.

 

Swami Himself is leading us in this mission of love, by personal example. He is

showing us the way, to go about in this great divine advanture. He is our

Master and we are his sevaks and servants.

 

Many devotees have a wrong notion, that Swami wants us only to undertake service

activities. Swami also teaches us that the service activities had to be taken

with a divine feelings, and our efforts should be backed with spiritual

feelings. While Swami is not preachings any specific religious activities. He

expects to be true to our own religious principles.

 

Dear Brother and Sisters, the greatest miracle that has happened in my life, is

the grace of Swami and His presence. The ability to feel and receive His love

in the greatest human experience, everything else that we have or hold is

temporary. Only Swami’s grace will be with us from Life to life.

 

I, conclude my speech by praying to our beloved Lord, that in the very near

future, the presence of Sai will grow, throughout in every knock and corner of

Japan, and every soul will finally find The real source of happiness at his

divine lotus feet.

 

May Swami bless all, in your Journey to find your true selves, and May this

convention serve as Bacon of light to help us to see our reality within.
