GIFT OF DARSHAN

Never underestimate what is being accomplished by the act of Darshan. My walking

among you is a gift, yearned for by the Gods of the highest heaven, and here you

are daily receiving this Grace.

Always find a quiet corner after my Darshan, where you may enter the stillness

and receive the completion of My blessings. My energy goes out from Me as I

pass by you. If you proceed to talk with others immediately, this precious

energy is dissipated and returned to Me, unused by you. Rest assured that

whatever My eyes see become vitalized and transmuted. You are changed day by

day.

I AM EVER ON THE MOVE…

When there is a desire for mental tranquility, I hurry to grant tranquility

Where there is dispiritedness, I hasten to raise the drooping heart Where there

is no mutual trust, I rush to restore trust I am ever on the move to fulfill the

Mission for which I have come. I want to light the lamp of Prema in every heart.

THE TIME WILL COME…

The time will come when the whole of this dream will vanish. To everyone of us

there must come a time when the whole universe will be found to have been a

mere dream, when we shall find that the soul is infinitely better than its

surroundings. In this struggle through what we call environments, there will

come a time when we shall find that these environments were almost zero in

comparison with the power of the soul. It is only a question of time, and time

is nothing in the infinite. It is a drop in the ocean. We can afford to wait

and be calm.

YOU HAVE COME BACK…

After long searches here and there, in temples and in churches, in earths and in

heavens, at last you come back. Completing the circle from where you have

started, to your own soul and find that He, for whom you have been seeking all

over the world, for whom you have been weeping and praying in churches and

temples, on whom you are looking as the mystery of all mysteries shrouded in

the clouds in nearest of the near, is your own self, the reality of your life,

body and soul.

1926-1940

23.11.1926: Incarnation of the Divine as Sri Sathya Sai Baba

1934-1937: Attended elementary school in Puttaparthi and Bukkapatnam.

1938-1940: Joined Uravakonda High School.

08.03.1940: The 'Scorpion Bite'. The first transcorporeal journey to save a devotee.

23.05.1940: Announcement at Puttaparthi: "I am Saibaba."

19.10.1940: Revelation as Shiva at Hampi temple.

20.10.1940: Proclamation at Uravakonda : "I am no longer your Sathya. I am Sai.

My work is calling me." The first Bhajan Song, also a call to mankind : "Manasa

Bhajare Guru Charanam "

1941-1960

1944: The old Mandir at Puttaparthi village set up.

25.05.1947: Historic letter to his brother, explaining His Mission and His Determination.

23.11.1950: Inauguration of Prasanthi Nilayam on the 25th Birthday of Bhagawan.

04.10.1956: Inauguration of Sri Sathya Sai Hospital at Prasanthi Nilayam.

01.07.1957: Planting of Vatavriksha (Meditation tree).

July - Aug 1957: Visit to Hardwar, Rishikesh, Kashmir

16.02.1958: Inaugurated 'Sanathana Sarathi' English & Telugu editions on

Mahasivarathri day.

22.12.1958: Visit to Kanyakumari. Tribute to Bhagawan by three seas: A pearl

garland offered at the Lotus Feet by the seas.

Marh-Apr 1960: Visit to Ayodhya, Benaras & Allahabad.

1961-1970

June 1961:Visit to Badrinath.

06.10.1961: Commencement of Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yagna during Dussera.

16.10.1962: Inauguration of All India Prasanthi Vidwan Maha Sabha.

06.07.1963: Guru Purnima - the miracle of compassion : Bhagawan taking upon

himself the paralysis of a devotee. Also announces that He is Shiva-Shakthi

Swaroopa.

13.04.1964: Establishment of Ashram at Brindavan.

04.08.1967: Prasanthi Nilayam declared as a township.

12.05.1968: Inauguration of Dharmakshetra and Sathyadeep at Bombay.

16.05.1968: First World Conference of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation at

Bombay. Explains in detail about His Incarnation and Mission.

July 1968: Visit to Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya .

22.07.1968: Inauguration of Sri Sathya Sai Arts and Science College for Women at Anantapur.

09.06.1969: Inauguration of Sri Sathya Sai Arts and Science College for men at Brindavan.

May 1970: Visit to Dwarka & inauguration of Digvijay dwar of the Somnath Temple.

1971-1980

May 1972: First Summer Course on Indian Culture and Spirituality.

20.07.1972: Opening of Smt.Easwaramma High School, Puttaparthi.

17.10.1972: Inauguration of Poorna Chandra Auditorium.

05.04.1973: Inauguration of 'Shivam' at Hyderabad.
