Guest guest
Om Namah Sivaya Thank you so much for the wonderful site to read about Sri ramakrishna. As you had mentioned the similarities to those days and what we are lucky and blessed to witness in Amma's midst is so special. I just came across these photos and thought that they were very apt for the article. Aum Amriteswarayai Namaha! Visit your group "Ammachi" on the web. Terms of Service. Namaskarams thanks for the feedback...and you have definitely discovered an excellent website in browsing through www.atmajyoti.org they have a huge amount of information online, which is ever so interesting...i've been reading the pieces relevant to early Christianity...the "gospels" that were not included in the bible...and which are quite different... i think that atmajyoti.org is a wonderful resource for spiritual literature of all sorts... i was led there i think by the publishers of Hinduism Today...on the back of the magazine they have an "e" section which discusses websites relevant to Hinduism and other computer related stuff for Hindus. i would recommend anyone of Amma's children to to Hinduism today...in fact they have now put their entire magazine online...published digitally...even the pictures and so on now...i just got a notification from them recently that they had uploaded the entire magazine to the net....Here's the webaddress for anyone interested...They have always strongly supported Amma and Her mission, very often you wil find articles about Her, or at least little blurbs...or sometimes quotes. Here's the address: (i still think it's worth it to SUBSCRIBE to the paper edition however, because it supports their work, and you end up having a permanent record yourself in your own library, that you can go back and look at years later): http://www.hinduismtoday.com/digital enjoy dear sisters and brothers...in Hinduism today i found that i BELONGED to vast family of folks with similar ideas and understandings. i "met" Gurudeva Sivaya Subramuniyaswamiji Who was the publisher of Hinduism Today the same week that i met Amma in 1995...through his magazine of course...not in person...and that week he had done a huge article on Amma and Her Ashram in India, promoting Her work and saying what a wonderful Mahatma She is....He entered into Mahasamadhi in 2001, October, by fasting unto death (he had incurable cancer)....He's one of my major heroes in the Sannyasin community...a truly Great Soul also...i found out that my wife used to consider him to be her family Guru, when she used to live in Malaysia.... She was was dithering seriously over whether to come back to Canada and marry me or not...it was such an unknown thing, even though She HAD visited...so in January 2002....she was a little scared to make the jump...and Gurudeva had foresightedly published an article in HT by an Indian lady who had made friends with an American guy, through letters, and finally ended up moving to America and marrying him...and had a wonderful loving life with him...so i passed the story to Easwari...and it helped her to come/ So i was at work one day feeling really thankful to Gurudeva for His kindness in publishing that story....i was washing dishes, and i closed my eyes, and prayerfully thanked Him...IMMEDIATELY He APPEARED behind my closed eyes, standing there, smiling at me and blessing me...it took my breath away...and brought me to tears... later all that day i could think of nothing else...and after work when i went home to my little rented room, i kept wondering WHY He had appeared to me like that..as He was NOT my Guru...so i was looking at His picture and a picture of Amma, asking WHY He had appeared...Suddenly i heard Amma's voice in my right ear, saying lovingly: "Son i want you to meet your Father!"...incredulously i looked at His photo saying..how can you be my father? i've got a father already! suddenly His photo transformed into Lord Siva, with the SUN and MOON for His eyes...and a ball of fire for His third eye...it was amazing!! so ever since that time i've looked at Him as a truly great soul...even a possible incarnation of Lord Siva (he was the principal dancer at the San Francisco Ballet (Lord Nataraj) before he renounced the world and headed for Sri Lanka in his twenties....anyways...anyone who has already read this story please forgive my repeating myself...(if i have repeated myself...i just can't quite remember at the moment) In Amma's Divine Love and in Her Service, as ever, visvanathan Aum Amriteswarayai Namaha!
