Guest guest
EXPERIENCES Sri D.Muthusamier, Health Inspector, Ootacamund informs us:- Believe not dreams. Nor all the results of Chit Consultation. Sri D. Muthusamier’s son an intelligent student appeared for S.S.L.C. two years back. He was a devout believer in Sai Baba. Some time before result came, he had a dream in which B.V.N.Swami appeared and told me that he failed in his examination. After waking, he cast Chits before BABA picture to ascertain if he had passed or not. The Chit test showed that he had failed. He took this to heart very keenly, took some money and left his house. For a few days there was no trace of him. Mr.M.sent wires, gave information to the police & c. – all in vain. In 2 or 3 days after the students dis-appearance, the results came. The boy had passed his examination. The father went to Coimbatore Sai Samaj to search for the son. Sri A.V.K. Chari assured him that in 24 hours, the boy would be discovered. In exactly 24 hours the boy was discovered and taken back home. The student lost his faith completely in Sai Baba and Swami. Not so the father. The father noted that sometimes dreams go by contraries, that an affirmative in the dream has to be constructed as a negative and that consequently, all drams should not taken as God sent and true visions or visions of truth. He also noted that the constant consultation of Sai Baba by anyone and everyone casting Chits, in any state of mind was a serious mistake- and not calculated to discover Baba’s will or the truth. Only those who have thoroughly surrendered themselves to Baba have a right to consult him; and chits may cast only when the consulter is in great pain or emotion needing the immediate direction of Baba on the matter about which the consultation takes place. Chits should be used only for guidance urgently needed for some action to be taken on the guidance- and not merely to get a prediction as from an astrologer. One who observes these rules will get guidance and will not lose faith. oct 1944. www.saileelas.org On behalf of Mr.Leeladharji Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005
