CRAVING FOR SAINATH

Sainath, holy eternity, boundless glory I crave to invoke you, But my tongue

has no utterance; I long to follow you,

But my feet are fastened to the ground in wonderment;

Will you not remove my fetter of avidya

That I my follow you always without hindrance?

Sainath, if you do not come

Who will show me the way in this world of confusion?

You are the way,

You are the truth and the one that leads the way.

I cannot find the way

Unless you lead me by your hand.

Then I follow you.

Sainath, you are the Light of the Universe,

Grant me to have

Access to your infinite light,

All things shine after you.

Sainath, reveal yourself in me

That I may be filled with Your Divine wisdom.

Sainath, You are the infinite deity

Grant me a serene heart

Grant me a peaceful heart

Fill my heart with love

Cleanse it of all impure feelings

May I never forget your blessings

For the transient things of the world.
