Guest guest
TRUTH Baba said, “I speak the truth, nothing but the truth” in Sri Sai Satcharitra, Ch. XVIII & XIX. In his early days, as a messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad had to face the enmity and hostility of certain people. The influential men of the Koreish tribe took a strong dislike to him. They spread the malicious rumour that he was an atheist. Insults were heaped on Muhammad. Even children ran after him to pelt stones at him. There was no jail in Mecca in those days, else they would have locked him up in prison! Abu Talib, Muhammad’s uncle, was an old man. He appealed to Muhammad, “Son of my brother! The Koreishites are the strongest tribe in the land, and they are dead against you. Why don’t you give up your preaching and take up your work as a merchant, again?” Then spoke Muhammad, words which revealed the hidden fire that lay within every true servant of God. To his old respected uncle, Muhammad said gently, but firmly, “If you were to place the sun in my right hand and the moon in the left, I would not swerve from the truth! God will help me to stand by the Truth or give me death!” Mail for Mobile Take Mail with you! Check email on your mobile phone.
