Guest guest
hello there first of all please dont hesitate to ask your doubts and to get a clarification from any sai devotees. before i try to answer your question i myself am an amateur and a sai devotee in her infancy. but on consultation with a good friend of mine im posting our thoughts on the issue. ok first of all about the tooth of SaiNathMaharaj being kept in Pune.Personally i feel there is nothing wrong in it. We humans have a tendency to want to see things SaiNath Maharaj in his lifetime had touched or had some form of contact with.Which is why Dwarakamai is so holy -----first because it has been his abode constantly for such a long period. Dont you get a nice feeling when you go and touch the walls and the platform on which Sai Nath used to sit?,There are so many articles kept there which have been so blessed to be in some form of contact with him, like the grinding wheel etc. Also SaiNath Maharaj in his lifetime had given Padukas to a few devotees, his Satka ,his Kafni to another person and so on.My mom on a previous visit had been to Shirdi and was able to see a few of these articles. I feel we are all blessed when we touch an article that was touched by Baba, what to say of the TOOTH of the LORD OF THE UNIVERSE???? So really I feel these are just a way of blessing people like us who have not been fortunate enough to meet Sai before his MahaSamadhi by enabling us to have some contact with things of HIS. Even now the Shirdi museum has a KAFNI worn by BABA and the feeling we get on seeing it is not describable in words. As for your query about naming a Hindu child with a muslim name ie Daulat Shah. As the article says SaiNath might have done this to bridge the barrier between Hindu and Muslim.Actually many people feel that one of the major reasons why God took an avtar in the form of SAI is to reduce the religious or communal clashes between the Hindus and Muslims and to enable us to see beyong such differences which dont matter. For that matter "SAI" means saint in Persian so are we thinking SAINATH IS persian? Hardly!!!!! So like a saying which says a rose is as sweet by any other name, the name doesnt really matter. Also we all have to overlook the differences in religion caste creed etc.SaiNath has done a lot for us to see over these petty differences. There is God in all of us,each and every one.Sai has himself said that when Allah and Ram are the same, why are the people on earth fighting over petty issues on the name of religion? All religions ultimately lead to the Almighty who himself has a muslim name a christian name ,many hindu names etc etc. So no problem in a hindu boy having a muslim name. As for Daulat Shah, personally i feel he is extremely lucky to first have his birth and name blessed by none other Than Sai Nath and then to have had THE LORD OF THE UNIVERSE hold his hand and make him write 'HARI". So we can see how lucky he was and how SAI has done so much for him. I hope i was able to clarify ur doubts on the issue. MAY SAI BLESS US ALL.
