Everyday that we live is a blessing to us from the LORD SAI. All of

us always find something or the other amiss in our lives. We always

have something to complain about. It is usual for most people to

feel the world doesn't appreciate their worth and God has not been

kind to them for anything from a silly reason to a substantial one.

This is because we have not realized how to be content with what God

has given us. We have not known how to count our blessings. One of

my favorite quotes is " I complained I had no shoes, untill I met a

man who had no feet".

Look at the handicapped, the orphaned, the sick and the elderly with

no one to take care of them and no one to call their own. Compared

to them, we are all exceptionally lucky to have a healthy mind , a

healthy body ,great families, a decent house ,a good job and even

most material possessions others would call luxuries.

Very few of us realize how gifted we are when God has given us this

life. There is so much that we can do to help others who are more

needy but we are so blinded by our own selfishness and self

importance.

God always gives us what we need, He need not always give us what

we want. Once we realize this truth, we will learn to accept

whatever HE gives us with a feeling of equanimity.

There is no end to what a man could want from life. We always have a

kind of a deal with the LORD and we say "Please do this for me and I

will be happy". The prayer could be for anything like a senior post

in an organization to a car or some other benefit. But how many of

us will stop wishing once we have attained what we wanted

initially??? This vicious circle of human desires and wants just

doesn't end. It will ultimately lead to disappointment because all

these material possessions are of no value or use and we will have

to leave them once we are gone from this world.

So my fellow brethren, let us today start thanking God for each and

every single incident in our lives. These incidents may not even

appear to convey anything to us, but each and every little thing

that goes on in our life has a hidden meaning behind it and it is

for our own good in the long run.

MAY SAI BLESS US ALL.
