Guest guest
LOOK DEEP INNER “Unless, a man leads a life of truth, penance and insight, a life of celibacy, he cannot get God-realization.” – Sri Sai Satcharitra, Ch. XVI & XVII. A holy man was invited to be present at a council of elders which had met to decide upon the punishment to be given to a wrong-doer. The holy man was reluctant to join the council. The president of the council sent him a message, saying, “We all are waiting for you. Do kindly come!” The holy man came to the council, dragging behind him a basket, full of holes, filled with sand. “What is this you are carrying?” the elders asked him. He said, “Like this sand, my sins are running out behind me. I do not see them, and today I come to judge the sins of another!” The words went home to the hearts of elders. And the wrong-doer was pardoned. Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya…. God speaks to us, but we hear Him not! For we must first regain the child state, which we have lost, before His soft, sweet, flute-like Voice becomes audible to our ears! Blessed are the childlike souls, for they shall commune with God!
