3. SAI PHILOSOPHY:

SAI PHILOSOPHY FROM THE DIARY OF SAI.BA.NI.SA.

These messages are the outcome and essence of the dream sequences of

Saibanisa as given by Lord Sainath, which reflect the Sai Philosophy

and his high thinking. They carry a sense of deep meaning and are

generally thought provoking, enough to set one's thinking process.

Translated and presented by RAGHU RAMAN SATULURY.

176) 31st October 1994: Bad thoughts are always associated with anger.

Therefore, keep away from anger for self-realization.

177) 5th November 1994: The mind is a bundle of desires capable of

transporting the desires like a rocket. Once the fuel is exhausted, it

has to fall to the ground. Realization of this truth is self-control.

178) 6th November 1994: Do not waste your time in discharging social

obligations only. Time also should be spent in constant thinking of

"GOD" to lead a peaceful life.

179) 17th December 1994: You talk more when you are not working.

Create more work in "ADHYATMA" paving the way for self-realization.

180) 20th December 1994: Saints around us are the messengers of "GOD"

sent by him to take care of humanity at large.

4. SAI IN DREAMS:

These are the dream sequences and messages as received by SAIBANISA

from our beloved GURU LORD SAINATH OF SHIRIDI. In Anticipation that

this feature will help in one's spiritual growth are hereby compiled

from his personal Diary and presented to SAIBANDHUS.

Translated and presented by RAGHU RAMAN SATULURY.

Dated: 20-05-1992.

I was traveling in a Bus along with my wife and children. The Bus

stopped on the way in a small village .I got down to drink some water

and in the mean while the Bus started off. I was stranded and eagerly

looking for an alternative mode of transport to reach them. I saw a

cab approaching from the road end. SAI himself was at the driving

wheel. He stopped near me and addressed – "I shall take you to your

destiny and what DAKSHINA can you give me ". Immediately I took out a

coconut from my bag and put it in to his hands. In his hands it got

changed in to a `Shiva linga'. I occupied the front seat next to him

and the cab speeded away.

Living together is only to part one day or other.

Dated: 21-05-1992.

SAI appeared in the form of, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and took

me to our old rented house (during the year 1964) situated in Kakinada

a small town in our State. There he choose to remind of my past with

the words – "It is in this house you have first taken to my name and I

know you since 1964". I got up from my sleep and recaptured the

similar event from 33rd chapter of Sai Satcharitra where in Baba says

to Bala Buva Sattar-"I know you since four years", even though it was

his first visit to Shiridi. Bala Buva Sattar happened to bow down to

Sai's photograph in his friend's house exactly four years ago.

HE is sarvaataryaami.

Dated: 10-06-1992.

Sai came in the form of Chief Executive of our Establishment and said

–"I was out of station for the past one month. Now that I am back,

start all the works which you have stopped". I recalled that I have

stopped reading Satcharitra parayana for the past 30 days. I was glad

that Sai reminded me of my duties in the form of Head of our

Organization. I concluded that Sai not only keeps a watch but also

always thrives for the spiritual development of his devotes.

The path of righteousness keeps track of itself.

To be continued….

5. SPIRITUAL GEMS FROM SAI SATCHARITRA:

"Swamy" svswamy1

16 Jan 2005 15:53:44 -0000

Sai Ram. Let us now proceed with the 14th Chapter of Sai Satcharitra

and see what Sai gives us.

"In the last Chapter, we described how Baba's word and grace cured

many incurable diseases. Now, we shall describe, how Baba blessed Mr.

Ruttonji Wadia with an issue." Sai Ram. Disease of the body or mind,

nothing is impossible for Sai, who is beyond the confines of space and

time. The thirteenth chapter described the physical diseases. This

chapter describes a different type of disease, which literally means

lack of ease or unhappiness. How many friends do we know who have

almost everything but still lack some thing and thus are unhappy? Such

a state of mind comes with a definite purpose. It is to bring us to a

cross road, where we make a choice and take one of the two roads, one

of Jnana and the other of Bhakti. The road of Jnana is chosen by those

who realise that all desires are seeds for further karma and so try to

use this unhappiness to drive them to a desire less state. Others, who

are not yet ready, use this uneasiness or unhappiness to spur them to

seek the refuge of God or Guru to get the desire fulfilled and thus

removes the happiness. This in turn purifies them and thus makes them

fit to receive the grace of God and thus will make them fit to choose

the path of Jnana at the next cross roads. And when the path of Jnana

becomes difficult to follow, the next crossroad comes along as if by

magic! And lo, we can choose the path of Bhakti there and then. Thus

these two paths are closely interwoven.

Ratanji Wadia chose the path of Bhakti. By coming to Shirdi and by

worshipping Sai with full faith, he got his heart's desire for

children fulfilled. He also got a very valuable spiritual lesson about

the oneness of Spirit, in the form of the oneness of Sai with

Moulisaheb. "The life of this Saint is naturally sweet in and out. His

various doings, eating, walking and His natural sayings are also

sweet. His life is Bliss incarnate." Sai Ram. It is sweet to those

whose demerits have been sufficiently reduced so that they develop a

liking to stories of God and Saints. They have turned their backs to

evil (see how evil and veil share the same letters, it is the veil of

ignorance which drives us to do evil) and have taken the first few

steps towards light, towards truth, so that they realize their true

nature, which is not different from that of God and His

representatives, Saints like Sai.

"Sai gave it out as a means of His devotee's remembrance to Him. He

gave them various stories of duty and action, which ultimately led

them to true religion. His object may be that people should live

happily in this world, but they should be ever cautious and gain the

object of their life, viz. self-realization. We get human body as a

result of merits in past births and it is worthwhile that with its

aid, we should attain devotion and liberation in this life. So we

should never be lazy, but always be on the alert to gain our end and

aim of life. If you daily hear the Leelas (stories) of Sai, you will

always see Him. Day and night you will remember Him in your mind, when

you assimilate Sai in this way, your mind will lose its fickleness and

if you go on in this manner, it will finally be merged in pure

Consciousness." Sai Ram. Sai pulled various devotees to His feet,

fulfilled their desires (which were benign and were due to ripen by

their earlier merits in some past births) and thus increased their

faith in Him. Not only their faith, but of many more who heard of the

stories and thus came in fulfillment of their desires. Very few

devotees came in search of self-realization and liberation from the

cycle of birth and death. They, like us, were simply not ready. Sai,

like Buddha was and is very patient. He was full of Saburi, the very

quality that He was always emphasizing His devotees to develop. And He

had full faith (Sraddha) in Allah, Fakir, Ram, Rahim, call Him what

you will, who placed these wards in Sai's care, that sooner or later,

they will come to Him to get the real boons, the real khazana of

spiritual truths.

One of the devotees who was thus pulled to His feet was Ruttonji of

Nanded. We will continue with the story in the next issue. Sai Ram.

6.QUINTESSENCE OF SRI SAIBABA'S PHILOSOPHY:

(By Late Sri Bharam UmamaheswaraRao)

"Shashi": shashi_31

14. Spiritual Guidance by Sri Sai Baba through Parables.

3.The third question is: -

`In a huge mansion, three rivers flow, which merge together in the

kitchen to consume the food stuffs cooked there; these three rivers

need to be crossed. How is this possible?"

Baba said – `The mansion is your body. The three rives are the nadis

of Ida, Pingala and Sushuma in your body, the Kitchen is the TRIKUTA,

where the above three rivers meet, the COOKED FOOD is the Rechaka,

Puraka, Kumbhaka and Pranayama; and the significance of EATING FOOD is

to consume the food stuffs in the state of NIRVIKALPA SAMADHI. That is

to activate the above NADIs in Meditation, arouse the KUNDALINI and

attain the state of Nirvikalpa Samadhi.

4.The fourth is: - `In a city, monkeys are seen jumping all over. What

does this signify?'

Baba's answer is `The body is the city. The thoughts in your minds are

the monkeys. Your minds are unsteady and easily tempted. When seated

in meditation, your mind goes astray in different directions. This

unsteady mind is symbolized by the hopping of the monkeys. That is to

say, the mind, which is unsteady and constantly ruffled, is likened to

the fickle nature of the monkeys".

5. The fifth question is:

`The taste of food is not perceived either by its container or the

stomach which consumes the food. The taste is known only to the

tongue. What is the inner meaning of this?'

The answer is- `The vessel in which the food is kept, indicates the

state of AJNANA. In this state the JIVA has no perception of true

happiness. This you cannot know God'. `The stomach which absorbs the

food and the food that goes into the stomach signifies the

SIDDHAVASTA. In that state, even though the individual soul has grown

spiritually the joy of DEHAMUKTHI is not known. Similarly, although

the food is taken into the stomach and hunger is appeased and the

stomach cannot, relish the taste of food. Tongue: `This is the

penultimate stage of JIVAN MUKTA. Spontaneous joy is experienced in

this state and one therefore, can relish the taste of the food placed

on the tongue.'

6. The sixth is: `What are the similarities between a navigator and a

Siddha Purusha?'

The answer is: - `The navigator ferries people across the river from

one bank to the other. Similarly, the Siddha Purusha carries the

devotee from mortality to immortal realms.'

7. The seventh is: `Ladder is deployed for reaching the heights and

thereafter discarded. What does this mean?'

The answer is: `Dedicating the senses or the gross mind and the

intellect to the Atman'. REACHING THE HEIGHTS: - means gaining

spiritual knowledge; DISCARDING THE LADDER means, giving up the

faculties of the sense, the mind and intellect as also when the

Ajnana, and Ahamkara which are responsible for false identification of

your true Self with the gross physical body are annihilated and

attachment to the physical body is renounced. Moksha can be attained.

For the Jnani who is in the state of atmic bliss, there is no body

awareness. Therefore, the meaning conveyed here is that once the task

is accomplished, there is no further necessity of the instrument.

The last and final question: `A pie was given to you sometime back

during meditation. This is to be distributed to all. How do you

distribute this coin to all?' Baba said I am giving messages to you

since 1987 and you have to propagate those messages in every nook and

corner for the enlightenment of one and all. (On 27-06-1995 when I

was meditating, Sri Sai Baba presented an old one copper coin of one

paisa of 1913 and also a flower placed on it is inscription in front

of Baba's idol in my pooja room at about 07-05 hrs. Baba then asked me

to distribute that coin, old 3 paisa copper coin of 1913, to all. The

inner significance of this is to propagate the inner meaning of His

messages to every nook and corner of the world)

In practical world, we see duality but in actuality there is only

non-duality.

7. DEVOTEES EXPERIENCES:

ittimohanty

I and my entire family are greatly devoted to Baba. Some of us heard

His stories and were moulded thereby. But some, like my father, who

initially disbelieved Baba, was forced to Believe Him!!! Many

incidents were responsible for this. I narrate one of those numerous

ones! My eldest sister (Anchi) did not have any issue even till 4

years after marriage. She was shown to a doctor and got all the tests

done. But to our disappointment, some complicacies were found, for

which they said, she could never have a child. My papa and my

brother-in-law, both being doctors witnessed the ultra-sound tests and

were disheartened.

Soon after this, my aunty (who herself is solely devoted to Baba)

asked my papa to resort to Baba's feet, and assured us that everything

would be all right. My papa made up in his mind, saying that he would

know the presence and power of Baba, only if He did anything for his

daughter and prayed to Him sincerely. Within a day or two after this,

a pregnancy test was performed on my her, and to all's surprise, she

was found pregnant!!!" Oh Baba!" This was what came out of my Papa's

mouth upon hearing this! She gave birth to a very cute little baby

girl, after so many complicacies.

Who would now deny His presence!!

Thanks,

Itti Mohanty.

"Srikanth Reddy" javasri

1/8/2005 15:06:53 -0000

Jai Sai Ram,

I am a devotee of Sri Shiridi Sai Baba for the last 4 years. I

immigrated to Canada in Feb2002.I am a pharmacy graduate with 4 years

of software experience. After coming to Canada I started my pharmacy

carrier in April 2002. I thank Baba for giving me an opportunity for

sharing my experiences with all of you. I had promised Baba that if I

pass my Canadian pharmacy-licensing exam (P.E.B.C), then I would be

writing my experience (miracle of Baba) in the newsletter.

There are 2 parts to the exam a)Theory( 2 papers) b)Practical exam

I took these exams in the first week of November2004. I started my

preparation on 1st September 2004.Prior to that I never opened a book

for any kind of preparation as far as exam is concerned. With the

grace of Baba I did study very hard for 2 months (September and

October). I was not confident enough to take up the exam. I compared

my preparation with all other friends. I was the least prepared

amongst all. Unfortunately I could not study the whole syllabus

because of lack of time .At that point of time I could not even think

of revising what I studied. In 2 months of preparation. I could go

through 75% of the syllabus that too only once. I left everything to

Baba. Everything is his mercy.

On Nov 3rd I took my first theory paper. I was falling short of time.

I was rushing through the exam in order to complete it on time. In

this mad rush I had answered some questions incorrectly though I knew

the correct answer. After coming out from the exam hall. Every one

whom I met said that the paper was very easy. To be frank I felt a bit

difficult. On Nov 4th(Thursday) I took my 2nd theory paper. On that

day I had a peculiar experience. Just before starting my exam I had

put my hand bag (which had the photograph of Sai Baba) on the table at

the front of the examination hall .The exam had commenced and I was

writing my hall ticket number on the answer booklet. I thought in my

mind if for some reason if the examiner asks me to take out the bag

from the table I will put the bag on the chair next to the table .As I

thought the examiner asked me to take away the bag on the table. Now I

had put the bag on the chair that is next beside the table. Then I

though if the examiner asks me to take away the bag from the chair I

will put the bag on the floor (spreading my jacket and sweater on the

floor). I though that Baba is testing me. Then I started answering my

exam paper. I had answered 85 to 90 questions (out of 135 questions)

in 90 minutes with out even having any second thought on any question.

The rest 45 questions I did in 2 hours time. (Total duration of the

exam was 3 and half hours). I had enough time to even sing Baba's

Bhajans in my mind during the exam. In the month of September the

Owner of the pharmacy where I work called me and told me that she

cannot accommodate me from 1st Jan 2005 as she has a deficit budget

..In other words She told me to quit the job from 1st Jan 2005.

Baba indicated to me couple of times that I would clear the exam but

still I had my own doubts about my result. Couple of weeks after the

exams .I ordered for High Speed Internet (MSN) package from Bell

Canada. They had sent me a C. D and instruction booklet to the nearest

post office. My wife works at Shoppers Drug Mart, Downtown and her

work hours are from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm. She uses the subway to

commute. After work she takes the subway, and at around 7:10 - 7:20 pm

she usually arrives at the Islington subway (which is very close to my

apartment). On that day I collected the High Speed Internet package

from the nearest post office for which I had to take the subway as

well. On my return to my home I reached Islington subway at around

7:05 pm. At this point of time a thought crossed my mind." If I see my

wife before I reach my apartment then I would pass both my exams". I

decided in my mind that I should not wait at the subway not even for a

moment but walk straight to my apartment, which is 5 minutes walk from

the Islington subway. Almost I stepped out of the subway I could not

see my wife. I was a bit dejected. I turned my head right and lo....

my wife was on to my right side. For the first time after taking up

the exams I told my wife that I now believe that there are chances for

me to pass the exams. Couple of weeks before the results I was called

for an interview by one of the Shoppers in Windsor, Ontario. I was

asked to come down to Windsor and the owner promised me to pay for all

the expenses. So I went to Windsor. I stayed in Windsor for 1 day,

during this time myself and the owner of the store discussed on so

many issues e.g.: religion, traditions, pharmacy profession, marriages

etc. All this time the owner was checking my communication skills.

Fortunately by Baba's grace he was impressed by me and offered me a

position as a Pharmacist at his store. He read out the contract

conditions and asked me to sign the contract if the offer is O.K to

me. I asked the owner to wait for couple of weeks so that we can get

the results. Suddenly He asked me which god do I believe in. I said

"SAI BABA". He then repeated "Oh SAI BABA". The owner was a white man

and he doesn't know anything about Sai Baba. Then he said, "form what

ever I had heard about you, I am sure the result will be positive".

On the day of my results. I left to work by 7.0 am. Around 8:30 am my

wife called me at my work place and said that the results were out on

the Internet and enquired about my result. She didn't knew the

password for the website where the results are displayed. I was

looking on the pharmacy board website from my work place and I could

not find my hall ticket number. I told my wife that I failed the exam.

Usually the hall ticked numbers of the people who have passed the exam

are displayed in sequence. For some reason the hall ticket numbers

were not in sequence this time. Almost I lost hope, then I was

casually scrolling down the results screen on the computer. Lo ... I

saw my number I could not believe this and tears of joy rolled from my

eyes. Un doubtfully I attribute my success to SRI SHIRIDI SAI BABA.

With out Baba's grace and blessings I could have NEVER achieved this

success. This reminds me of Hemadpant's words in SATCHARITA "that a

devotees progress is smooth and certain (Spiritual and Worldly

progress) with the blessings of Baba". Baba never turns down his

devotees. Baba knows better than anyone what is good for his devotees.

Shraddha and Saburi are the two things Baba expects from his devotees.

I would like to thank my friends Abdul Arif and Devotham Reddy for

their selfless guidance and encouragement for these exams. I had so

many experiences of Baba in the month of December. To be frank I am

falling short of space to send all the experiences to this website. I

am sending this experience to saibaba.org website from my new home in

Windsor. I will be starting my new job in Windsor on 6th Jan

(Thursday) 2005.

8. SAI WITH CHILDREN:

http://www.saidarbar.org/HTML/portraits/7.jpg

Smt. Madhu Gopal Ravada, Saidarbar, Hyderabad.

Hello Children! I am Madhu aunty. Do you know Baba use to play with

children and used to tell stories to them? I felt children visiting

Saidarbar should be entertained with good stories. Baba told before He

took His Maha Samadhi that He is Muralidhar and would like to play in

Booty Wada (Samadhi Mandir) with His devotees. So far you have enjoyed

Krishna Leelas. Baba has also established his identity with Lord Sri

Rama. Now I will take you through our epic Ramayan. Tell your parents

to read the Glory of Shirdi Sai – Bi-weekly E-magazine and narrate

Ramayan from this magazine.

EXILE OF RAMA:

Rama permitted Sita and Lakshmana to accompany him to the forest. He

could not make them stay in Ayodhya. Now, they cast away their royal

robes and dressed up as hermits. The three were ready to go to forest,

only the leave- taking remained. They look leave of Queen Kaushalya

and Queen Sumitra. The two queens could do nothing but blessed them

tearfully. Kaushalya said to Rama, "Rama let no harm come your younger

brother Lakshmana. Always protect him."

Queen Sumitra also advised Lakshmana to always protect and serve both

Rama and Sita. Then the three went to Kaikeyi's palace. They found

Dasharatha in the same sad state. Dasharatha's grief increased when he

saw Rama, Lakshmana and Sita dressed in hermit's robes. He was

distressed that Sita and Lakshmana too were going with Rama. He

tightly embraced Rama hand and tearfully asked him to disregard the

pledge he had given. Rama only bowed his head, as he could not bear to

see his father's grief-sticken face. The three in hermit's robes came

out of the palace. Sumantra was instructed by the king to drive them

to the forest in the chariot. People had learnt of the later

developments. They waited for Rama tearfully out side. They were

weeping and crying when Rama, Lakshmana and Sita started their journey

to forest. They were so grief stricken as if their own son was going

into exile. The people were following the three. Rama asked Sumantra

to drive his chariot fast out of the city limits. The crying and

weeping people ran after the chariot until it was out of sight.

They were out of city limits and going through the forest. At a place

Rama asked Sumantra to stop the chariot. Sumantra stopped. Rama,

lakshmana and Sita descended from the chariot and Rama said to

Sumantra, "Sumantra, now you go back. Leave us here. We will travel on

foot from here like true hermits." Tears welled in Sumantra's eyes.

He said, "My Lord, how can I go back without you? Why?" – Said Rama.

"Your task is over. Now go back to Ayodhya." Sumantra said, "The king

had asked me to bring you back after showing you the forest." Rama

said, "No Sumantra. Let me do my duty. I shall have to spend my

fourteen years in forest. It was the wish that my father granted to my

mother Kaikeyi. It is better not talk of this now. You go back to

Ayodhya as fast as you can and take of the affairs there." Sumantra

tearfully pleaded Rama to accompany him back to Ayodhya as it was his

father's wish, but he could not make Rama agree to it. Defeated in his

efforts the sad and tearful Sumantra drove his chariot towards

Ayodhya, while Rama, Lakshmana and Sita started their onward journey

on foot. Walking through the forest and meeting inhabitants of forest

and sages, Rama, Lakshmana and Sita reached the bank of holy river

Ganga. To continue their onward journey it became necessary to cross

the river. Many people of nearby villages came to see Rama. Among them

was Guha, an old of friend of Rama, who arranged for a boat on which

Rama, Sita and Lakshmana sat to cross the river Ganga. After having

crossed Ganga they reached sage Bhardwaj's hermitage at the bank of

confluence of holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati in Prayagraj.

Spending a few days there Rama, Lakshmana and Sita took their leave,

and then they crossed the river Yamuna by a boat built by Lakshmana

and walked towards Chitrakoot. Reaching Chitrakoot, Lakshmana built a

beautiful hut, and they settled there.

9. ARTICLES FROM SAI DEVOTEES:

Sankaraiah Dubagunta" sainama

The Dakshina Bhiksha Samstha was established during the year 1915 to

serve the needs of pilgrims visiting Shirdi. The samstha published a

journal called "SAINATH PRABHU"(vide Sri Sai Satcharita, chap 2). The

information furnished here-under is taken from the journal as every

Sai devotee would like to know more about Shirdi alias Sheeladhi alias

Saiabad of 1915 and also what Baba spoke\taught to the visiting

devotees of yesterday. The then population of Shirdi was 1500 only.

They considered Sheeladhi as Mukthi-Kshetra of the Yuga with Shree

SaiBaba as Mukthi-Data. Many of His Bhaktas heard Him saying that

Shirdi with three other villages had been given to Him by His Malik.

Shirdi was His ancestral place. Baba declared more than once that He

had come to stay there permanently after an interval of about two

hundred years. Maharaj did not say the name of the original place from

where He came. But He often mentioned that, that place was inhabited

by typical men well versed in all arts and professions besides being

kind hearted and God-loving. Even Shirdi, which was barren and

forsaken village during the early period, it was an excellent citadel

encircled with pleasant groves of fruit trees. Its Bazaars were large

enough to have kept His favorite Marwari-vysyas in great affluence.

Again with the advent Sainath the spiritual importance had steadily

grown. Baba's unique pure and divine love, His simple way, His scanty

and ordinary food enhanced observer's regard for Him. Baba saved many

sufferers from bodily ailments. Though He did not leave Shirdi, His

body was seen in distant lands attending to His beloved Bhaktas. In

his own words, "Me kutra, manjar, Dukkar, hovun hi jatha" (I am moving

in the form of dog, cat and pig.) The sick and the wounded expect

miraculous cure from Amritaic Vibhudhi. Many an atheist had changed

and become his sincere bhakta. With the increasing fame of Shri

Sainath the importance of Shirdi also had grown and it is reckoned as

an important pilgrim center in the world. T he good and deserving

attempted to reach His paramarthic goal under His safe and sure

guidance. Sainath Maharaj had practically shown to the world that the

platform of Dwarakamai was a sight to see where devotees of all

religious faith gather for common prayer irrespective of their caste,

creed, sex, and region.

Not a single disturbance had ever been witnessed during so many years

of such congregated worship, consequent on any religious difference.

No doubt Baba Sai Accepted Dakshina or Arpans from visiting Bhaktas.

"Jyonchekadoon paise hote tyancha kamala te paise lavathe. Te mala

katha karatche" (If I borrow money from somebody I will utilize for

his work why I require his money). Of course Baba did not ask Dakshina

of every one or did He accept everything offered everybody. He was

often heard saying that He had to keep an account for the owner and

Government. "Mala he shob te vayla lagto malik ka karitam (sarkara

karitam)" Perhaps associations or individuals who revive money should

bear in mind that every paisa has to be accounted to the giver as well

as to Government as the collection is in his name. Sainath Prabhu used

to disburse dakshina amounts among sevakaris bhaktas, gosevis, fakirs,

bairagis and children. Seasonal fruits were purchased and distributed.

His care for the poor, the needy and crippled worth moulding. Baba

used to say, who else would see the poor except myself. He used to

impress on the devotees such charities would confer extraordinary

benefits on the giver. We may conclude this article with Sadguru

Nath`s invaluable assurance. "Pannas hazar aale, aani chappan hazaar

gele, tyanchasi aplavala kay karanche! Jyanchi nista ghad aaye ani

iman sabath aahe tyamla saath samud myahala kareen! Maza manasana 72

nid yaniryanth meech ambhalathao, Fifty thousand people may come and

fifty-Six thousand may go. Why we should bother? A person whose faith

is firm and integrity is established he can cross seven seas. I look

after my people for 72 generations.

A Brief life sketch on Pujya Sri Bapatla Hanumatha Rao Shirdi Sai

Bhakta.

Chosen By Sai Himself during 1944.

Part –II

Sai Ankita children like Swami Kessavaiahji, D.BhimRao of all India

Sai Samaj (at that time of 1950s) helped him morally and financially

when he went to Madras. During 1955, Baba appeared in his dream and

handed over a book having cover of Tri Colored Picture of Baba with

the above title and Hanumantha Rao thought, when Baba was taking care

of him, there should not be any doubts about his future well being and

plans. During 1944, a common friend to Hanumantha Rao and Sri

Narasimha Swami introduced him to Sri Narasimha Swamiji and Swamiji

told that Baba appeared in a dream and told him to choose Sri

Hanumantha Rao to write books on Sai. This happened in Chirala, in

A.P.State. When he met NarasimhaSwami, Rao prostrated before him and

felt immense happy and with tears thanked Baba in introducing such a

great person as, Pujya Sri Narasimha Swamiji. He gave some books to

Panthulugaru and said ` Oh my son', you translate all my books in to

Telugu and Sai has chosen you to spread His messages and you have been

chosen as his Astana Pandit thus make your life happy at the feet of

"Sai Ram" and gave a photo of Sai which resembled same as he has seen

Sai Baba in his dream. From that moment except Sai, nothing came to

his mind and heart, began to translate all Narasimha Swamiji's books

and also wrote some books of his own.

Bapatla Hanumatha Rao was born on 14-09-1902 and left his physical

body on 7-11-1973, solely centering his mind on Baba, timely receiving

Shirdi Prasad and thinking of Baba only. Let us always offer our

prostrations to him for his precious works on Baba and for his

unflinching devotion to Baba. At present Hanumatha Rao's son, Sri

Parthasarathy, son of his worshipful father and who is following the

foot steps of his father, doing great service to Sai devotees, by re

printing and printing of all his father works, inspite of so many

financial problems. Our heartful regards to him. May we all live

always in the paradise of the dust of Shirdi Sai's Feet. Bow to Shri

Sai. Peace to be all.
