Dear sai friends,

 

just wanted to give you an update on Meggies progress. she has

recently returned from hospital after sucessfully removing her

tracheostomy tube ( originally to protect her airway ). Everything

went fine and she is healing up nicely. Im sure she must feel so

much more comfortable now.She is contiuing to progress and we see

more evidence of our Meggie and her personality all the time

although she is still not able to sit up or speak.

 

She is still moving towards full conciousness but has good strenght

in her limbs now, we think her core body strength still needs to

develop. Now that the tracheostemy tube is out she should be able to

speak although she hasn't yet. Please pray for her voice to come

back and also for her eye function.

 

Her eye movements are not always equal, there is a bit of a problem

and she seems to have blurred vision at certain distances. She is

such a pretty young lady and I hope so much that her eye function

can be restored for her sake and her future life. She has always

loved her food and has started taking small amounts of food and

drink orally now which is great.

 

She is so determined to get better and live the life she really

deserves, please, please continue with your prayers and support by

e-mail, it has been the major factor of us being able to get through

this nightmare. We have kept every single e-mail received and new

ones are greatly cherished.

It is nice to learn that Dear Meggie is improving,please have no fear,BABA will

make her all right,and we all are praying for the little flower.
