Guest guest
There were other remarkable experiences too. When he visited Shirdi in 1943 he had a wish to go to Pandharpur. He took lots with the help of chits to know Baba’s direction in the matter. As the response was in the affirmative he proceeded on his journey. A stranger met him at Dhond and accompanied him to Pandharpur and took him to a choultry in a tonga. He even paid for the conveyance! After making all the necessary arrangements, he said to Sri Kesavayya, “Whenever you think of me I shall come to you.” And he went along. Who could he be? Today, as a monument of Baba’s grace a magnificent Sai Temple has taken shape at Shenoynagar in Madras. Sri Kesavayya inaugurated The Sai Mandir at Vidya nagar on March 12, 1981 and later attained mahasamadhi on 7th August, 1981. There are many more of the offshoots of Baba which bear testimony to the fact that Baba is a living spiritual force, ready to alchemize every heart that opens itself to him. The more fortunate of these guard against the snares of craving for fame and wealth but there are some who succumb to such. Baba had already sounded the caution in his parable of the mango-tree in blossom. Many fall off and very few reach the state of fruition.
