“Sri Sathya Sai Hrudaya Nivasi” (Indweller of Hearts). We had the wonderful

exposure to new set of persons in the form of Sai devotees. That was the first

time, I was seeing many Sai devotees, and got chances to talk about Swami with

all those fortunate people who had seen Swami much before than us. There were

many things to know from them on Swami. Till then I knew only that Swami was a

wonderful personality who can create objects from thin air by just waive of His

hands. We were not knowing the full implications of the manifestation of

Divinity amongst the humanity during this very century. As I started

gathering information on the various facets of Swami, an entire new vision was

unfolding. The capacity of Bhagavan to induce devotion on the stray

individuals made a very impact in me. I was born and brought up in an orthodox

religious family, I could straight away tune myself to the wavelength of

Bhagavan.

Roman"> At that time, there was a youth named, Sri Nandan Bhalvalli, hailing

from Bombay, and who spent his younger boyhood in the company of Bhagavan Sri

Sathya Sai Baba, at Puttaparthi. How fortunate he was! He was drawn to Swami in

his early teens, and could live very intimately with Bhagavan. As the later

events proved, I was very fortunate to get his acquaintance. My brother (Late)

Sri V.S. Mani and myself were introduced to this boy. He was telling wonderful

stories of Baba, in Swami’s boyhood. We were thrilled. Sri Nandan, in turn,

introduced us to various other devotees, in Bombay. All those devotees were

fortunate indeed to get an early start as “devotees” of Bhagavan Baba. Since

both my brother Sri Mani and myself come from a spiritual oriented family, Sri

Nandan took us to the house of Dr. Pathak, in Prarthana Samaj, near Grant Road,

Bombay. We did not know, what made Sri. Nandan take us to Dr. Pathak’s

residence. All the events that

were taking place, after coming to Bhagavan seemed strange and mysterious. We

were ushered into the drawing room of Dr. Pathak. The room was dimly lighted.

Many people were sitting Dhyan posture. My brother and myself, did not know

what to do. We were supposed to wait till all are awake and the lights are

switched on. Later, we came to know that this was a Dhyan Center,

where disciples of a Saint Dhyani Maharaj Madhusudhandasji, assemble for

group

meditation. Guruji, himself, was living in His Ashram, in a remote village,

Bhandwad, in Gujarat. From next day, we also joined the meditation group. We

received instructions which were to be followed while meditating. From the

first day itself, both of us experienced some vibrations along our spinal

chords. We also felt a bit dizzy, during the time of meditation. On the

fourth day of our regular attendance in the Dhyan center, Dr. Pathak told us

that they have received a letter from Guruji, in which Guruji had mentioned

about our

attendance, and also asked Doctor to convey his blessings to us. Those days the

communication system was not much in evidence. There were no telephone

connections in that remote village. A letter takes 4 days to travel on one way.

There was no way of Dr. Pathak informing Guruji about us. We were much intrigued

about all these mystic experiences. Another major surprise was in stock for us.

In another two days there was yet another letter, in which Guruji had conveyed

to Dr. Pathak that we need not think and analyze too much on our experiences.

Guruji had written, “Let them only know, that whatever is happening to them, is

only the “WILL” and “Krupa” of their recently found Inshta Devatha”.

TEXT-ALIGN: justify"> We mentally bowed to Guruji for this revelation, and also

profusely thanked Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. It was after a long wait over

three months that we could have Darshan of Dhyani Mahraj Madhusudhan dasji,

face to face, and sit under His Holy feet, in meditation. Guruji was merciful

and consented to initiate us into Dhyana Marg, by “Shakthi Path”. By this

method, Guruji transmits his own spiritual power into us by “touch” on our

forehead, just in between our

eyebrows. Guruji also utters a Mantra into our right ears, which will be “Dhyana

Mantra” for the remaining period of our life. We will see much more of this
