During the 55th birthday celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Varu in 1980, Bhagawan commanded us to offer refreshments to his devotees and the delegates attending the 3rd World Conference, at our place. At that time we served in a small shamiyana of 10’ X 20’ offering biscuits, coffee and tea to the devotees for about 15days. On the concluding day Bhagawan visited the camp, took arathi and blessed us. We are continuing this service since then, serving devotees every 5 years once during the world Conferences. After 1980, 1985 and 1990 camps, we felt that we should do this service on a permanent basis, so that devotees can avail the services through out the year on everyday. With this intention, with the permission and blessings of Bhagawan we formed a trust in the year 1992, naming it as ‘Sri Sarva Dharma Samanvaya Trust’. We purchased land of about 7 acres and dug two tube wells. Along with this service we decided to start an old-age home for the senior citizens. By the year 1995, Bhagawan ‘s 70th birthday, we constructed a Sarva Dharma Stupa of 36’ height and a 3500sqft kitchen cum dining hall block which was incomplete. We did the service in this building for fifteen days, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bhagawan inaugurated this building on 7-06-1996 and named the ashram as “Sri Sathya Sai Prem Kutir.” We started our services for the senior citizens from October ’96. Bhagawan visited us in June ’97 and in June ’98. During Bhagawan’s visit on 11-06-2000, Swamy inaugurated the Ganesha temple, the Gokulum and the 16-bed dormitory. Till this dormitory was opened, the inmates of the ashram were housed in the Dining Hall block. There are also 3 cottages for the people seeking privacy. These are donor cottages. The donors pay the cost and stay for their life. Dormitory accommodation is free. There are 25 inmates as of now. For Bhagawan's 75th birthday in Nov 2000, we conducted 75 mass marriages on 13th Nov and started serving the devotees with breakfast, lunch and dinner till 28th Nov. So, we bought another 5 acres of land donated by a devotee. Swamy gave us the seed money and by June 2001 we completed 3 classrooms, which are of 16’ X 24’ size with a corridor of 7’.Swamy inagurated the school along with a computer center on 11th June 2001 and named it as "Sri Sathya Sai Vidyan Niketan". We started with 1st std. and adding on every year. On 9.6.2002, Swamy inaugurated an extension block of 8 class rooms. Vth std was started from this academic year. For the academic year 2003-04 six classes from Ist to VIth standards are running. The education in this institution is totally free based on sai Principles. we have prepared a master plan for 36 classrooms, an auditorioum and a play ground. The cost of each class room is a approximataly US $ 6000. we have to add on the class rooms every year within 3 or 4 years. On 13.6.2003, 9 Navagraha temples, a separate temple for each graha of the size 11' x 11' and a temple in the center of the size 13' x 13' were consecrated Swamy's residence of 1800 sft with a living room, dining hall and a bedroom is ready and is waiting for inauguration by swamy. Attached to the Swamy's residence is an Auditorium of size 40'x100' for which foundation is ready and we have to complete it during this year. Gopurams of all the religions will be reflected on the auditorium. We have to add on the classrooms every year within 3 or 4 years.
