Guest guest
speak of her "own" love"or of "her " feelings.! f one is really united in GOD in a union so established that god t is indeed in possession of the soul, the whole consciousness will be taken up with what I would call "GOD-consciousness", and there will be no "self-consciousness." (i.e. EGO) Little children are very prompt to show their character. There is a great difference in them. Bring a child into a room. She comes thinking about nothing in particular, looking at her mother, then looking at the guests or anything that objectively strikes her, not thinking of herself. That is pure, sweet, and lovely. She grows older, and she comes to think of herself and what people think of her, and her manner has lost its unconsciousness. A great deal of what you call bashfulness is rottenness at the heart; it is self-consciousness (EGO), i must say. Now ...Just try and undertsand a simple logic : The man who is talking about his love unceasingly has no love; the man who is talking about his faith unceasingly has no faith: -- the two things cannot go together. When you love, what are you thinking about? Are you not thinking about the object of your love? And when you believe, you are just thinking about it ! It's a thought ...a belief . But when u become that ..there is NO 'thought' So when you have NO 'thought '--- When you are 'thoughtless (!!) ...oops ....You are That ...You don't "become" a devotee ...You become one with Swami ! You and Swami are ONE. at that moment. So all thinking ..all 'thought' ... is just 'becoming' this "devotee" of that "man / woman." ( endowed with a perishable body ! ) ..but if u are thoughtless ....then you don't become ..u just BE ...u'r TRUE pristine ..ever shining SELF ( i.e. the formless, Universal and Eternal ' Baba Energy ') Are U still thinking ....??!!! Ram RAM RAM Thank you & God bless. Guest guest
"devotees" are incresing more and more 'quantitatively ... but not 'qualitatively'. ....
Guest guest
Jai Sai Ram, You are so very right. My experience also says the same thing! When I close my eyes and think of SaiBaba, I don't have anything for me to ask! I just pray for others. Peace and unity in the family, neighbours, friends and that circle broadens to the whole world! Actually when I see people winning lottery, I think what would I do if I had that much money?!? It's good Baba is not giving me that much money! I won't be FREE the way I am right now if I had that much money. Of course, Money is a good instrument to help others and serve others and I pray Baba to provide that much money! To support myself/ I don't have to stretch my hand for my needs and enough to help others as and when need comes up! We do have to pay for our past deeds and the physical sickness also may be part of our dues. So we need to be thankful for healthy days as we grow older, because failing health is very difficult to handle in later years! Take care. Jai Sai Ram.
