A Quotation from Bhagawan

The amount of money one should own can be compared to the shoes one wears; if

too small they hurt; if too big they are a hindrance while walking. Money, too

has to be with us only just enough for a life of physical and mental comfort.

When we have too much money, it breeds ego, sloth and contempt for others.

Today, while engaged in pursuit of money, man has descended to the level of a

beast.

Everyone is struggling to get rich as there seems to be some belief that the

rich are always happy. But that is not the case. The rich have plenty to eat

but have little appetite. The rich wield power over others, but they are mostly

held down by disease. The rich have many servants, but they cannot live in

peace.
