Guest guest
Dear Brothers and Sisters, Belated Happy Cavadee! Joyeuse Fete de Muruga! Happy Valentine Day! The Saint Valentine Day was celebrated with great pomp by young and old in Mauritius. The price of roses rocketed and to-day Guru Day, there is not one single rose bud, leave alone a rose, on the market. Bhagawan Baba was offered three garlands , two of marigolds and one of pink and cream chamelis' and one rose bud which I found hidden under a parasol of leaves in my garden! En passant, I wish to tell a Brother, who will surely respond to this posting by saying that we must not spend money on garlands but we should put a ceiling on our desires and put the money at the service of others, the following - In Mauritius we, and I for one, grow flowers in our garden and mostly marigolds called 'pooja ke phool' or 'gaindha.' Our climate allows us to have the most gorgeous marigolds year in and out. Moreover, we women devotees, ceremoniously thread the garlands ourselves as a spiritual sadhana. These garlands are offered to Bhagawan BABA as a token of our immense love . Beleive me, we find it difficult, if not impossible, to put a ceiling on our outbursts of LOVE. I was wanting to offer my book to Bhagawan Baba for the Saint Valentine but due to unforseen circumstances the book is still under production. I understand that this is a LEELA oF BHAGAWAN BABA. HE is GOD and My God not My Valentine. I thank Bhagawan Baba for expanding my vision and for making me realise HIS DIVINITY. But this is not all ! Bhagawan Baba has given me a Valentine ! at the lotus feet of SAI anita
