Guest guest
unhappiness. To experience enduring happiness, these feelings of ‘I and mine’ must go. When everything appears to be going well, the ego gets inflated as a result of one’s achievements and acquisitions. One should realise that one is only a temporary beneficiary of what one possesses; one has no permanent title to any of them. Similarly, one should regard power or position as a moral assignment, and carry out the duties relating to it. Only when all actions are done in such a spirit of moral imperative, can one experience genuine happiness and satisfaction. - Sanathana Sarathi 1986, P. 126.
