Guest guest
The other day, I was chatting with an old student of Sai school. She narrated to me what Swami narrated to the students once about the last scene in Radha's life. Initially Swami told everyone that Radha's Madhura Bhakti is unprecedented and no body can ever match her love for Krishna. (This Sai student who was narrating it to me, added a comment..."See, Swami is greatly declaring that no-one can match Radha's Love for Him. I will show that my love for Him can....I will show Him... " I felt so much of kutti kutti Sai-joy hearing that comment. Actually these funny words, she told in Telugu are: "Edho pedha goppagaa chepthunnaaru Swami Radha gurinchi..." ....it was just blissful to see the child-like jealousy in her words...the cute jealousy she was feeling towards Radha as Radha was getting all the praise from Sai Krishna...lol...) OK, lets back to Swami's narration (I am reproducing her words to the best of my ability. There might be some differences from the actual version told by Swami. If someone finds any mistakes in this, please do correct me. Sai Krishna! Please help!) : Narration starts: "Radha was hated and abandoned by her family members. For she spent all the time in Krishna's thought. All her world, her words and deeds were filled with Krishna's Love and nothing else. Since she is spending all her time in Krishna's thoughts, people left her. But when she finally became sick, and was approching her death, her family members came to her help. They asked her if she had any wishes. She asked them to carry her to the banks of Yamuna. Ofcourse, it is the place where her life had the sweetest memories, her Divine meetings with her Krishna. The moments of bliss, when she forgot her body, mind and ego watching the Divinely playful pranks for Krishna!" (Sandesh: Swami cautioned that Krishna never played with the Gopikas once He was young. All the Leelas with Gopikas were only during His childhood, and they can never be mis-understood to be filled with lust or any other impure feelings. Krishna's life was as exemplary as that of Rama. How can He ever set a wrong example when the very purpose for which He came was to convey His Message through His Life? His Leelas, His plays always teach only about the permanant joy and never temporal joy. His acts are always redeeming and lifting people above their bodies and minds and never making them slaves to their senses. Swami also told that Gopikas always used to maintain distance from Krishna and used to display utmost obedience when He was around.) Swami's narration continues: "Radha's relatives agreed for her last plea and took her to the banks of Yamuna and left her there. Radha was physically totally weak but got up on her feet somehow and chanting Krishna's Name, she started walking towards the tree where she used to meet Krishna. As soon as she reached the tree, she could not stand anymore. When she was about to fall down, Krishna's appeared there and caught her! Infact Krishna promised to Radha that He would be with her during the last moments of her sojourn on earth. He fulfilled His words by coming there! Radha's heart filled with in-explicable joy seeing her most beloved Krishna! Her eyes started flowing and amidst the Divine bliss, she asked, "Krishna! Would you play the flute for me once?" Krishna immediately fulfilled her wish, He started playing the Divine music, the redeeming music that sustains the entire universe. Radha, while listening to Krishna's flute music...in that Divine ecstasy, left her mortal body. Krishna was shocked with Radha's departure from the world. In the agony, He threw the flute into the Yamuna river! He never ever touched a flute again in His life after Radha left the world! That was the measure of the Love He reciprocated for His devotees. If Radha's life is Krishna, Krishna's life is Radha too!" End of Swami's narration. There are two sweet things about this narration Leela of Swami. First thing: by the end of narration, both Swami and students were weeping in the Divine emotion caused by this love story. Second thing: while Swami was narrating this incident, Swami unknowingly went into first person! Instead of saying, "Radha asked Krishna to play the flute and He immediately took His flute...", Swami said, "Radha asked Me to play the Flute and I immediately took My flute..." What a sweet revelation of His identity! We love you, Sai Krishna! We are Your Gopikas and Gopabaalaas...please please please accept us! Along with this narration, I would like to share one jewel, I missed somehow. These words of Swami, I don't know how I missed, but from the moment I read them, they are ringing in my head day-and-night. After I read these words, I feel it is a new world. I feel I like I found a new definition of Love. The incident which I got to know because of some unknown great merit I have done is as follows: ************************************************************************ Once in Prasanthi Nilayam, a lady got up from the last row and spoke loudly, "Swami! I need your Grace." The lady repeated these words a number of times. Suddenly, the Lord stopped, turned towards her and said, " Grace, grace. Do you really know the meaning of Grace?" The lady replied, "Swami, it means your compassion, your blessings." Baba said, "No, it means much more than that. If you really want My Grace you should prepare yourself to face every type of calamity. You will lose all your wealth and happiness and still instead of crying and repenting you will have to completely merge yourself in meditating upon Me and utter My name in your heart. Your near and dear ones will turn against you. People will implicate you in conspiracies with which you have nothing to do. They will find faults with you where you are totally innocent. Under all such circumstances, you will have to simply think of Me and Me alone and suffer everything silently. Come on, are you prepared to face all these things?" The lady was stunned. She could not utter a word and sat down quietly. (Source: Sai Baba and Nara Narayan Gufa Ashram, Part II. ed. B.P. Misra, Bombay, Prasanthi Printers 1990, p.31) ************************************************************************ Sandesh: Swami, Your every word comes to us like a Geetha. May my body suffer with the most painful and dreadful cancer, But let every cell in it be filled with the Name of "Sai" I know that alone can sustain this body for a thousand years and more. May I be thrown into utter poverty and hopelessness, But grant me the wealth of Love for you, I know that alone can give me all the joy I have ever dreamt of. May the entire world find fault with me, abandon me, hate me, But just let me know, that You love me, I will live all my life happily, I shall never complain. What is the use of this life without experiencing Your Love? Can all the wealth in the world bring the joy One smile of Yours brings? Is there any equal to the feeling I feel, when You reciprocate Your Love for me? I may not be a great singer or a writer, But grant me the ability to see you in everyone. I may not be charming and beautiful, intelligent and shrewd, But grant me the ability to the feel you both in the cold of the winter and the warmth of spring. It is not the people's antipathy towards me that pains me, It is Your indifference towards me that pains. It is not a life sailing smoothly that I desire, It is a life whose day and night are filled with only one thought - the thought of You and Only You. Let me Love you please. Let me love You please. Nothing else I ask of You. Nothing else. Love, love...Love for Sai....when would you fill me? When? ........................

Guest guest
yes! sometimes we get given what is right and not necessarily what we want.....but if we can just "surrender" the outcome to swami...with love....then what we do get in return is immesurable by any counts... Today, i stand with my head held up high and can declare that I love Baba more than ever!.......(but i have a very long way to go to even match a drop of Radha's love for swami). But having said that....with swami's grace, each one of us will get there...one day! love bakula x shivathmika <shivathmika (AT) optusnet (DOT) com.au> wrote: Sai Ram Brother I have heard this story previously as well but this time it touched my heart too deeply when I heard that Swami cried while He was narrating. Guest guest
Opportunity of This Life' to paint the Prasanthi Mandir - we were befriended by many spiritual masters and intellectuals. Amongst them was one Mr. Sharma - He always said - "You worship the sun - but if the sun came a little closer to you - you will be scorched." He would add - "Swami is Surya Devtha - The Lord of Sun - so don't go so near Him that you (me) are scorched." And then seeing the quizical look on my face he would add - "but what ever be the case - gold has to be put in the fire crusible to take out and burn the impurities." Since 1985, I have faced heat of sahara and cool breeze of a lagoon - but, over the years - I am fully convinced that He is always looking at me and taking care of everything. Between two nights is a day and between two days is a night. Ups and downs and repeated downs are all a part of life. As you progress the tests become more difficult indeed. In the spiritual path of a devotee are many tests - all are given to see how we react. Crying over pain and bloating over joy are both wrong 'if' they force us to self-condemnation in sorrow and ego in joy. Swami is present with (in - out - up - down - allaround) each one of us - at all times and at all places. That is what we always call as OMNIPRESENT. Feel that presence and realise that presence permenantly. Guest guest
Parthi, a lady was saying “everybody comes to Swami to get rid of their problems, but after coming into the fold of Swami only I have many problems.” Many times i also come across the same that, some persons are fearing that some devotees of swami are meeting with accidents, sufferings etc. Even some of them suffering from accidents while they are going to parthi or returning from parthi. But all its divine leela, no one knows why this are happening.. The reason may be test or clearing of past karma or divine leela.. whatever it may be.. but we should't go away from swami by fearing about this sufferings I want to tell one incident of one great devotee.. Late Dr.Kotagiri.Poorna chander MBBS. He is from Siricilla, Dist:Karimnagar. He is great devotee of Bhagwan Sri satya sai baba. He had a good practise. And he adopted one village name RAGUDU and offered free treatment to the whole village. When ever any prescription comes from RAGUDU, he offered free treatment. Like that so much of service he rendered to poor. In 2001 when he is going to parthi with his family, they met with a severe accident and he and his son died immediately. His wife saved with severe injuries. And after some period after her recovery again she went to parthi for swami darshan. When she was in Saikulwant hall, Swami came near to her.. and said Bangaaru.. your husband reached me, he is with me And He will be always with me. Don't worry. This is the nature of true devotees. If she is not true devotee of Swami, then again she might not have gone to parthi for swami's darshan after that tragedy. Why we should fear and feel when swami with us.We have to get ready for facing any test or anything.. We can overcome any great sufferings also with little efforts if swami's grace with us. Swami's grace is like anasthesia for operation (sufferings). Guest guest
SAIRAM.SAIKRISHNA.nobody can read this without tears of joy, tears of love enjoying the divine love. i wish to tell something regarding the murali which i heard through my parents. Radha heard that Krishna is leaving Nandhigram to meet kamsa. she was very sad that she cannot meet Krishna thereafter and asked Krishna to give her the flute so that she can see, touch, embarace and do everything whatever she wants to do with Krishna in Krishna's memory. On Radha's request Krishna could say only yes. gave the murali to her, left for mathura for Kamsa vadh. i wish to know whether Swamy has mentioned about this anywhere . Guest guest
I am happy that Swami used this piece to convey His message to sister Melody! God's directions come in unexpected ways! And ya...as sister Shivatmika nicely pointed out, Swami also cautions us to secure our seat in the Sai Plane! These days I am contemplating on the very definition our Lord gave for the word "devotion" : Treating both joy and sorrow with equal fortitude (remember: His letter to His physical brother Seshamaraju. :-)) I have been constantly meditating on this truth from past few days and it's opening a real new world for me :-)....that realization will not lead to removal of difficulties...but it is getting immune to the difficulties, knowing that joy and sorrow are as natural and inevitable as day and night in this world. And sister Bakula, I whole-heartedly wish that your love form Swami will soon reach the levels of that of Radha! Swami is all the more attractive to drag you as closer...:-) Jatinder Bhai: Let me confess to you...the "indifference" I wrote in the second part is just poetic....I did not really mean it. I know I cannot ever point a finger at my Swami for being cold. I know that if at all I am not able to feel the warmth, the mistake lies completely on my side....lol.... Jai Jai Sweet sweeter sweetest Swami!Bolo Kaliyuga Avtar Bhagavan Sri Sathya Baba ji ki Jai!
